Resident Evil 4 = BEST GAME EVER????

RE4 is not the best game out there. GoW beats it, but Halo doesn't :]

Its probably my favorite game of all time. I was really suprised just how good the game was when I bought it. I never like the previous installments all that much, but after RE4, I can't wait for RE5.

RE4 was a great game, it was innovative, something completely different--just what the franchise needed. IMO

But everyone has their own views and opinions of course; I definitely do not consider RE4 "the best game ever" though.
Having said that, I am not a Halo nor a God of War fan, so in this case, I would say, yes, RE4 is better then Halo and God of War. But again, that is just my opinion.

on X-play (which i realize is a joke) they said that resisdent evil 4 is the best game they have ever reviewed. beating out halo 2 and god of war. i strongly disagree. what do you think?theiceman08

aww i missed that episode but i really do agree, it is an AMAZING GAME if u havent played it enough i played through it like 15 times

I don't pay attention to anything on G4 all the ydo is bash the PS3 every chance they get.

i like gow but its a lil overrated, jsut hack and slash and button mash but its awesome, i mean games like gow have been seen before, re4 was totally new and with that over the shoulder cam and aiming system we see that in tons of games today most notably gears of war

You know what's funny? I was looking so forward to RE4, but didn't buy it for such a long time. But about 6-7 months ago, I ran over to EB Games and bought a brand new copy for the PS2, but I have never gotten around to playing it. It still sits in the shrink wrap on my shelf............Then one day on a 'whim' I bought a Nintendo Wii, and saw the new Resident Evil 'Anniversary Pack' for the Gamecube, so I picked it up, not realizing that RE4 was also included. And that is also still sitting on my shelf in the shrink wrap.

So I actually have 2 copies of RE4, one for the PS2 and one for the Gamecube, and I still have never played the damn game. Maybe I should do that tomorrow, since I have the day off. I am soooo bad for buying tons of games, and letting them sit there and never playing them. Oh well.

I hope they improve on the dialogue for Part 5. RE4 had good voice actors though.
