No! If you could properly run and gun on RE it would lose all it's RE integrity. the bad clunky controlswent because of tech improvement but on 4 they could have made it more R&G they didn't as Capcom know that a Franchise has to keep some survival horror elements in the game or would lose the hardcore while confusing casual gamers.
It's one of the last(and , IMO, deliberately kept)links keeping RE5 part of the series. Would be so easy if you could shoot when running away-plus it adds to your vulnerablity in the face of large numbers. Honestly that would kill it for me dude.
I'm definitely going to be buying it, I just can't shake off the feeling that it might be a big disappointment due to it's extreme similarities to RE4. What the hell's with Capcom and milking every single good idea they've ever had (they did it with the original REs and look what happened there...)?
