Resistance 2 ending (EXTREME SPOILER ALERT)

Okay, so is that the worst ending to a video game ever? Nathan does all the work to save the world just to get capped in the head by that corporal guy. Do you guys think we will play the corporal in Resistance 3 then with Nathan Hale as the bad guy?

Als, did anyone else find the final boss fight to be extremely lacking? Especially compared to the great boss fight where that huge thing is chucking you across the city.

I don't think the ending was bad... I thought it was actually good. I mean, it doesn't leave you with the accomplishment feeling but it leaves you totally shocked I never saw THAT coming tbh.

As for R3, who knows?? that's why I'm shocked, I guess and it makes me wonder what's coming so I already want that stupid game lol.

And about the final fight, well tbh no boss fight were hard for me, all of them were pretty easy, with exception of the swarm maybe, but that one was easy too.

i agree with greengoblin. i DID NOT see that coming. totally thought Hale would blow away Capelli with those cool powers you get with your hands. But yes, i did think the final boss fight was too easy. rsoxguy12

I liked the ending, but I gotta agree that the last boss was too easy and it just wasn't as exciting as the rest.

As for R3, I hope that in the campagin I think it would be awesome if you can create your own character which will play as a new solider to the squad of Capelli(The guy who killed Hale) and Hale will play the leader of the Chimera, so its your job to be in the final fight against the Chimera

they wanted more of a dark ending. 

last boss fight reminded me of the last boss from halflife...

what with the destroying of the crystals and stuff...

Anyways, good game for sure. I would say I enjoyed it more then the first one. The online is pretty fun too.

All boss battles are easy and im playing on Superhuman mode (I hope). I agree Swarm was the only "hard" boss but that was because I had no Idea if I had to just run or shoot. I wanted the Daedalus battle to be really epic but all it was, was shooting light bulbs (How many Sentinels does it take to screw in a lightbulb). I expected something like him grabbing me with his tentacle and then Hale pulls a gernade and kills em both, or Hale gets that plasma gun thing that he used on the kraken blows some pillars up and they fall on Daedalus then you get on his head and then shoot him a few times then he grabs you and throws you sort of like the Leviathen battle but Daedalus flys straight for you to end Hale with a sort of Spear attack but when your flying Hale either pulls out that giant Plasma gun or the HE 44 magnum and shoots Daedalus and thats how the battle ends.avataraang1

Well, Dedalus was dumb... all that big brain he had was meant to store pr0n. In the end that's all that matters.

Oh so thats what it was. NOW I GET WHY HE WAS SAYING THAT, "Can you hear them? Its beautiful". My God he was thinking of porn all along. In the end Hale had abosrbed it all and it was so much that he was able to shoot it out of his hands but it was so much for the other Chimera to bare so they exploded themselves.avataraang1

Yeah, I went through the entire final bossfight without taking any damage at all. I shot out a bulb, sprinted away, shot out another one...took I think four or five bulbs to take him down, and then there was no dramatic movie or anything, it just came back in to Daedulus in a big lump and Nathan goes up, touches him and then...ZOMG the ships about to blow!!!

Anyway, the suggestion that they should have zoomed in on Capelli's face for the pistol shot is a good one, and then fade out to credits and we would all be here talking about how awesome it's gonna be to get part 3 and find out what really happened.

At least I didn't see it coming :|

But really, I wouldn't really count on Hale actually being dead. I mean, it would be freaking sweet if we could play as a Chimeran military general in the next once.

If they decide to keep him, then since this is a RESISTANCE, then we'll probably control some other guy to take down Hale in his Chimeran form.

If Hale is dead, then ouch.
