According to amazon.com the Resistance 2 special edition will have:

A Bonus DVD including Behind the scenes and commentary etc. (WTF not blu ray)

A Chimera hybrid action figure

A Concept art book

and a sneak peak at the upcoming resistance book

So are you getting it

i dont know there are some other games i want to buy and i could use those extra 20 dlrs (thats probably what its gonna cost over here in mexico if not more) to buy another game

Nope. I just want the game. Not paying $10 to $20 more just for a DVD I will never watch, a book that I will only skim through once, and I rather play the game than a cheap toy made from China.

Face the facts, almost everything is Made in China these days. That doesnt change anything. The quality from made in china items are getting better at least. It wasnt as bad as the 1990s. :P

i think special editions are stupid unless you get something else added into the game. Idk i just think they are kinda stupid. While im definitely getting the game idk about the SE

considering that res is such a great mulity-player game, i normally dont buy special ed's but for this i might consider it. also i have been playing the beta for a while now and this game rocks. most everybody will be quite amazed with what they have done this time around.

I may consider the resistance SE. the only special edition I ever bought was this years madden lol and that came with a ton of video and more importantly a good complete game in head coach. all for $30 bucks more.

Why? Most of the time they're only lame promo tracks forcing you do dish out extra cash or go the way of the pirate to get the real deal...

Well, the best game that had a special edition was GTAIV. I have never seen anything better than that and I hope to see something good again soon. As to whether I'm going to buy this one, I have no idea. It all depends if I get a good job in the next few days to weeks.
