Because it's a trilogy, Hale is American and wants to protect his home from attack from Russia, and the Sentinal Program is run from the US. They'll probably get back to Europe in the third.
Well the fighting started in russia why would they go straight to the end when they can have battles in America than go to the end to make it a trilogy?
Resistance: Fall of Man Part II- I'd like to see the sequel show the continuation of the fall of man. Lots of people assume that man is going to 'rise' in the sequel. But what if the first one just delayed the inevitable? Don't get me wrong I want there to be a huge fight for survival for mankind but I kinda wanna see them ultimately fail. Now that'd be unexpected but if Insomniac could pull it off right it would be very epic and poetic.
Also for those saying 'fall of america' that sounds much less dramatic than fall of man, anyway its set in England. Not in America, as that part of the world has been taken over by the chimera becasue their soilders were too weak. Only joking.
i have a crazy idea that at the end of the next resistance the chimera are going to like flea earth to destroy itor something random and nate is going to end up on a chimera ship and bring the fight to the chimera

I wouldn't buy a game called Fall of America. Besides. A name like that will give the game a lot of bad press. So, unless you want to play online with a bunch of terrorists or liberal femi-nazis, having the game called "Fall of America" is a bad idea.
resistance fall of man who get up than fall once more then attemt to get up who fall again and then come to there senses and die on the ground on there last breath man evolves and gives birth to babies who start new franchise resistance fall of infants as infants get up they fall not knowing how to walk so lay there for years till they master walking skill and are tripped buy bullies and robbed of lunch money only to trip slightly and still walk then lose balance and fall again unfourtuanetley then get up and buy cane to help walk then cane breaks and fall till insurance covers the cost of the broken cane then get up again only to realise they should lay down cuz the know they are going to fall the lay and lay till they are fat sparking new series resistance fall of fat kids kid decides to get up but cant cuz hes to fat so rolls then a new new new franchise is called resistance you cant fall cuz your allready rolling on ground then he decides to loze weight cuz hes sick of rolling and he falls on tread mill only to put him in full body cast the rest of his life then he gets severe depression andkills himselfsetting off new franchise called resitancefall of men in full body casts from 86th floor.
