Resistance 3 or Killzone 3

Looking to get one of these games, I dont play FPS very often and was just wondering wich of these is a better game. I am looking for a good campaign story over the multiplayer experiance.

they are both equally good, both worth the score of 8.5/10

but since you said you are looking for campaign over multiplayer, R3 is wat you are looking forw. R3 story mode is pretty fun and the trophies are kinda fun to get.

KZ3 campaign is alright/good but nothing stands out much.

Resistance 3

Either one and you really can't go wrong. Like everyone said Killzone has a better MP, but i think that the Killzone story is really fun, the overall story isn't special, but i had lots of fun playing it.

Campaign = Resistance 3. I just bought it and I'm loving it. It is co-op online and offline, and the story is actually good.

MP = Killzone 3. I put countless hours in on KZ3 MP. It's a blast.

I prefer KZ3 for SP and MP, but if you want a story then KZ3 is not the way to go. I liked it because it did what it set it to do, and that is be an intense shooter from start to finish. Nearly every moment is action packed, and I was never bored.

R3 is still very good, and since you want more of a SP game I'm assuming you probably want a story, so for the story I'd say go with R3.

Both great games, but Killzone 3 is better imo.

to be honest, i havent play R3 yet, why? i dont know but i know for a fact that R3 story wise is miles above KZ3, KZ3 is awesome dont get me wrong but the story is okay at best, as everyone has mentioned with KZ3, multiplayer is the way to go. the resistance series as a whole has a awesome story!

I would recommend KZ, the campaign is fun but it's not very deep and it's storyline is weak. Resistance is an ok series I think, have only played the R3 demo but it seemed ok.

For SP I would recommend Bioshock or Half Life (Orange Box, got patched on PS3 and fine now) both of those are SP only. For MP I would recommend KZ3 without a doubt.
