I gotta say R3 looks awesome, but Uncharted is easily my most anticipated game for next year. I'll be getting both for sure though.

i'm definitely buying Uncharted 3, but i do wanna rent Resistance 3, cause i've played and beaten the other 2 games
If resistance 3 is anything like 2, then easily uncharted 3. resistance 2 was pretty mediocre. The first one was better. _SOULtoSQUEEZE_Curiosity, why is there so much hate to Resistance 2, I haven't played the first or second, but even though Resistance 2 got good reviews everyone seems to think it's bad.
Anyway to the topic, like the Topic Creator said, both is the right answer. I'm not really excited for either really, mainly because I never played the first two Resistance games, however they were both apparantly excellent so I'm excited for it in a sense. As for Uncharted 3, I don't see how they are going to put in Uncharted gameplay with jumping around and climbing in the desert, however Naughty Dog is an excellent studio so I know it'll turn out good.
I just don't have enough information to be really excited yet. I'm excited, but excited for seeing how they'll surprise me, not because I'm expecting excellence yet, however that's probably what I'll be excited about later next year.

It's not a bad game, but it just didn't really set itself apart from other games to me, especially the multiplayer. Just seemed a little generic in my opinion.wow... funny you should even ask :) hahahahaha the Resistace 3 would probably get 100000000000000000000000000000000000 (well millions of hits :) )I gotta say R3 looks awesome, but Uncharted is easily my most anticipated game for next year. ummm....what?
Get both games. Resistance is always awesome. It is like a modern Doom in a sense. Uncharted 3 will probably be just as great as the second.

Resistance 2 gets a lot of hate because in the first game you had a weapon wheel so you could choose any weapon you wanted at any time. In resistance 2, you could only carry 2 guns at one time, similar to the standards of other shooters. In Resistance 1, you could play the campaign mode with a friend. In resistance 2 the campaign mode was only one player. Some people claim that the graphics were too bright and cartoony in R2.
I personally found R2 to be overall better than the first. I liked the varied environments in the second game. The first game was great but the levels have a similar feel. The narration in the first game was better though as well as the boss levels. I liked R2 because the levels were bigger and I loved the chaos in the levels toward the end. I loved the 8 player co-op in the second game although there weren't very many levels. I liked the color in the second game, instead of everything being grey and brown all the time.
Both games would probably cost you $50 at worst.

Thanks for the reply.I am excited for both, from what I heard from some people they say that Resistance 3 reminds them more of the original (from the little we've heard) compared to the second, so Resistance 3 will probably be better recieved.
Despite disliking the 1st, I gave Resistance 2 a chance. Won't be purchasing 3, that's for sure. Uncharted on the other hand has never disappointed!
Uncharted 3.
I don't own R1 or R2 and neither have impressed me (based on demos and playing the games at my friends house). I might give them another try before 3 coems out but Ucharted is the better series for me.
R2 was a little average IMO, so I will probably rent R3, if that. Uncharted 3 on the other hand is a day 1 buy.
I don't care about Resistance 3 as I don't like FPS games. But I can't wait for Uncharted 3 considering Uncharted is my favorite series on PS3.
While Resistance 3 looks a lot more promising than the poor Resistance 2 with the gritty and dark atmosphere back, I'm still sticking with the quality of the Uncharted series. Uncharted 3 for me!
I can't see myself getting either
Resistance 3 is an FPS so it already isn't my kind of game and the Uncharted series is just way to scripted for my liking
Is this even a question, Uncharted 3. But my most wanted game for next year is inFamous 2 followed by Uncharted 3

I thought that about Uncharted too. I like it for a playthrough, but I feel more like I'm playing through an interactive movie than a game. I'll probably rent Resistance.
I'll be getting both for sure. I love them, they're two of my favourite series ever. I can't wait, I'm so excited.

Interactive movie?? That sounds more like Heavy Rain, not Uncharted
