Yes, resistance was suprisingly fun to me as well and yes; the physics and little details the game has are great. The only complaint I would have against it are some of it's textures, otherwise it's perfect IMO....

Are you serious? The enemies automatically know where you are no matter what...they shoot you from freaking far away... Honestly, the A.I was terrible in the game....just admit to it, please...
alot of games do that. thats one thing i hate about shooters, i could be invisible, crawling, and behind 3 objects and they will still know where i am. the GRAW 2 demo for instance, the second (if not sooner) you show a centimeter of your body they start shooting.Â

Maybe their opinions are differents then yours?? Ohh wait a minite I forget people aren't allowed to have opinions now adays:roll:... imo...its a good game buts its not a 9+ game. when you review games for a living, you are supposed to use facts as much as possible, and make clear reasons for not liking something, most of the reviews didnt do that from what ive seen. no one can seem to explain why its not a 9+ game. using words and phrases like "average" or "not innovative" are not explanations, they are just buzz words. clear examples of why the game isnt good, or you have no basis for lowering the score. every game should start out 10, till you find reasons to knock it down, the reviewers dont seem to use that criteria, its just arbitrary bashing for random things.
Its a great game , im used to play games only once, but im up for round 3 on resistance. i read some guy that said the AI was crap, all a can say is that i like when i try to shoot chimera with a big gun and they jump to get out of the way that is good AI.
What I'm seeing is this: Resistance is an excellent game for people who are intimidated to jump wholeheartedly into the FPS genre and is introducing new blood into the mix. So overall Resistance did its job to the fullest. I think that was M$ goal when they introduce "gamer girl" at their E3 presentation a couple of years back. They wanted to bring in the casual gamers but failed to really live up to that, but since Sony seems to be doing so, it's rubbing some fanboys the wrong way....
I guess whoever thought the AI sucked obviously didnt play the game on hard or even superhuman, the AI gets downright diabolical on superhuman, and the physics were awesome, but I do agree with one of the poster's above rainbow six vegas has that cover mode that i wanted in fps's also
I bought the game and had fun with it for a couple weeks. Now, the game sits on my shelf collecting dust. It is a fun game but overly hyped. I think this is because the drought of games available, and gamers needed a game to surpass the rest. Resistance is only good because the competitors sucked.

but its alot of biased reviewers that loves to suck microsofts privates

and resistence is better than gears of war to me or any fps on xbox
i dont know why they didnt give resistence fall of man a higher score than gears of war

Dude no you don't know which games are good and which are bad. You think you do but you really don't. You might think a game is good while someone else might think otherwise. Sure, there are the obvious graphics, gameplay, overall presentation critiques but in the end Resistance is just another FPS and doesn't do much to stand out between the competition except perhaps its online play. And by the way, Gears of War isn't an FPS mr. gamer...and the only reason FPSs suck (in my opinion) is because there's too damn much of them...Microsoft needs to go out and find some unique developers otherwise they might as well name their next console the FPS. Oh, on top of this you call Halo a graphic's whore game...Resistance looks better than both Halo's released...what's your point? And what's wrong with the score Resistance got? god forbid its a few decimal places below Gears.

Indeed, but sadly they go with the hype or with what they like more, I mean one person to review all type of games? WTF? there should be diferent persons for different type of games. they don't have any criterias to review a game. Like you said.
