Worth getting.. the story mode is good starts off slow but does get much better as it goes on and worth replaying once compleated as you get new weapons that you dont get the first time through.. Online is the bes part though great fun, even better now that there are worldwide servers to connect to so there is always someone online when you want to play.
It's very much your standard FPS but with unique weapons. The gameplay is great, graphics solid, and it has very fun multiplayer. All in all, it's a must have for any PS3 owner.
Wow resistance, I havent played that in months. Great game, the first one I bought. I beat it like 5 times in single player and I think if i remember right i am a colonel online. The online ranking system is brilliant and the games are not overcrowded or undermanned, just right. Weapons are imaginative and original. I highly recomend this game.
its a good solid shooter def get it, it isnt awesome it doesnt break any barriers and doesnt do anything new to the fps world. But what it does offer it offers well its a good challenging game i encourage u to get it
i just got a ps3 and the demo of resistance didn't WOW me. I still want to get it eventually but i picked warhawk and graw 2 to be my very first ps3 games.
really love the game its got great mulitplayer and great graphics and some pretty neat weapons i personally like the hedghoge grenades. but i am getting addicted to the online aspect i just can't stop wanting to kill or be killed lol.
regular game - fun finished it only twice, but online KICKS ASS!!!
I still play it every night for about 4hrs - we are tons of people always a different party up to 20 ppl in one against 20 others. Objective and deathmatch mode is just great. It is good solid fun.
One thing if you get it and go online - press start in game, choose the change squad option and go tango - spawn using square (sorry hate when people don't)
I found Resistance to be boring after the first 2, 3 levels. It's extremely repetitive and got old fast in my opnion. Of course, I found Halo to be the same way, so I dunno...I'm a weird one. I think Warhawk is a lot more fun game overall though. But, that's my opinion.
An Awesome FPS. Great story. The story seems just good at first (above avg) but when you go to their website and look at all the extra-game details and plot points, you find the game very immersive.
The Ps3's Halo. If you like Halo, you will like Resistance.
The games play the exact same, only Resistance has faster pacing.

not necessarily, yeah theyre both run and gun shooters but i dont think u can compare resistance to halo just yet.
It's the subtle little things that make the games nearly the exact same. The gameplay mechanics are nearly identicle.
Resistance follows Halo's formula right on the dot. The only really big differences are the levels. Halo features few, very large levels. Resistance offers alot of smaller ones.
