Resistance is boring

The single player is a bit of a roalercoaster, with more downs than ups... It was pretty good but the way the story was told I just found extremely dull and un interesting. The actual story was cool and I just wish they had told it better. Multi is good but I'm sort of Halo fan myself... ( seriously don't flame me, I HAVE a PS3 and I play it more than my box right now I promise ;) )

Talking about player in past sence and showing still images is not a good way of getting you to feel "in" the game at all... and I found the controls to be too "light" I can't describe it any better.

Resistance 2 could be a AAA if they just make some design changes.

Ive had this game for about a month, and I've played it for about 10 hours. Im already very bored with it,, and I doubt i will ever play it again. I dont know why everyone thinks its so great. BTW, I am an FPS fan.

I'm just the opposite.  I tend to hate FPS games but I couldn't put RFOM down once I started playing it.  caseystryker

Exactly the same here, hated FPS's but I'm now converted. Downloaded the demo off the PSN out of curiosity, and rushed out and bought it on the strength of that.

I played Halo, after 1 hr, I was still not impressed. Then I played Halo 2 and after 1 hr, I was still not impressed. FPS are just better on the PC.gamenux

eh......RFoM is fun online only because of the party system and dedicated servers.

Otherwise, the game is unbalanced (the Chimera have the advantage), most people don't use a mic (30% at best), party options are limited (only host can invite others to party), and there's no voice messaging.

IMO, RFoM is the best FPS for PS3-only gamers.

I think you are biased because your name is has xbox360 in it.......and it does not matter if you are an FPS fan and don't like RFOM, I don't like MMOS and I like World of Warcraft....

I think you are right.

I thought it was awesome. Best game I played since Halo1. I played all the way through in Co-op with my son and All the way through by myself. Of course First Person Shooters are my Favorite Genre... It goes to show you that everyone has different Tastes. I cannot stand Sims games and Real Time Strategy. I have to think all day at work, the last thing I want to do when gaming is manage resources!!! So if someone gives you a game recommendation it does not mean you will enjoy the same experience. Many of the other XBox'ers I talk to had talked me into Gears of War (rated 9.6), I hated that game.Kruegmeister

R u jokin!?!?!?!? Most people say that it is the best because they play online.  Online killing is awesome.  I've had it for a long time and it still owns.  Online is the best.  Let me guess, you haven't tried online have you?  Or else you would not say this.

And yes, Resistance is very overrated. I just wish the TCs name wasnt "Mr. Xbox 360" So he might actually prove a point in these forums.

Me thinks his name has already proven a point. Anyways, enough with this madness, Resistance is the best FPS out bar none. For a launch title, give it another cookie. A great game which is justy scratching the surface of waht ps3 can do, just imagine resistance 2 when they have the time to implement data streaming and 1080p without having to rush to meet the launch deadline. MrXbox360, gimme a freaking break.
