ok every time i try to play online this message comes up "Network connection failed. Disconnecting from network." 60% of the time this happens and sometimes when im already in games. Is this my fault or is it the game? My ps3 is detecting 75% connection from my router does it need to be like 90%. i can log into my psn account fine, its just the online games. PLS HELp

its most likely the router your using ...whoever owns it is probably downloading stuff causing you to get kick off, or many people can be using that same connection

60% of the time??? Really?

This has happenned to me, 3 or 4 times, which makes it about 2% of the time.  I thought it was because the server was down, now I think it might be because of wifi...

I use Wifi and have NEVER had lag and have only been disconnected once.  Do a search for router on this forum, I posted a couple of guides on how to do it properly.

I've never used anything but WiFi and I've never seen any lag. I've never been kicked off the network either and I've been using it since launch. All I have for a router was a Netgear I got on sale for $15 too, so its not like I have some $200 setup or anything.

also linksys provides great password protection by encrypting it in hex, so the time to hack it if someone wanted to would take a few days non stop.  Dlink if i remember right doesn't provide that, and it takes a simple tool that can be found on the internet to crack any dictionary type of password in just a few hours.
