Resistances 1 CO-OP Question

I just purchased a PS3 so I'm catching up on a bunch of games which I've missed out. One of which would bre Resistance. I'm already on the 2nd chapter of the game, but I have a question regarding the CO-OP.

If my friend comes over tomorrow and plays CO-OP with me, will it be actually the same as if I was playing alone, but I have someone to help me? (Same as in maps, locations, story, cutscenes.) or do we play a gimped side story?

Ah... So lets say the game takes 8 hours to beat. If my friend and I were devoted enough, we could have the full experience if we play it through the 8 hours.

How long would it take to beat in CO-OP on "easy" (I KNOW >_>)

Does playing the game on CO-OP make it generally a lot easier?

Co op is great and it does have the same maps and evrything but it does have more enemies, its like if you were playing it single player on hard or super human.babenjorge

I dunno.. I play like a real man, in superhuman.

It's probably a lot harder on Superhuman difficulty in coop than doing it by yourself.

And in R1, the coop just follows the main singleplayer story. There's no gimp.

Co-op is a bit more challenging I felt, because you get less healths because you're sharing with 2 people. And i think there's more enemies.G-Legend

I thought Co-op was easier then single player since u can revive ur partner and all. despite that i havent beat RFoM yet (lol i kno i suck, it was my 1st ps3 game too). ive gotten farther on co-opo (by alot) then in single player..... on the same difficulty setting. and dont say maybe i just suck cuz ive had many different people play with me, from my friend who is good at FPS to my 7 years nephew, who can barely get his hands around the controller.

plus on single player hard you get those twin guns with lock-on which you can't use on co-op.
