Rockstar Chooses NaturalMotion’s euphoria Technology  for the new GTAIV.

Rockstar Games announced today it has chosen one of technologies used in Star Wars Unleashed for "upcoming next-generation titles."

Check out the Euphoria tech demo and trailers here that will also be use in GTAIV.

i saw the demo of that engine on gametrailers (i think it was)

very impressive destruciton physics

Either way both look incredibly lifelike and it is hard to tell the difference.

Motorstorm uses the havok engine. It says so when the demo is loading up.

I would like to see hoe the devs use this awesome engine in GTA.

I wonder how many polygons need to be in a simple square in order for that Digital Molecular build stuff to be able to work, or if its a particle trick... Anyway, that stuff is REALLY cool as a 3d artist. The Euphoria stuff for some reason just doesnt interest me, maybe if the legs could be separate from the movement of the upper half it could work.(you could run and get knocked around) Very cool for GTA4 for have this, but i wonder how much they will use it to their advantage?

  Yeah that series isn't for me either killing ppl over and over again gets boring quick.

It will probably use it in kind of the same way CrackDown uses it. Mainly for explosions, crashes, and of course random environmental interaction, but i believe CrackDown uses that last version of Havok before the latest was released to developers.

Doesnt say that at all, they just licenced the tech, doesnt say GTA4 at all nor does it mention any other product.

Where Does It Say GTA4 Is Using It?????   From What I Read It Says Rockstar Will Be Using This..  Rockstar Makes Many Games....     This Is Just Like People Saying GTA4 Is Using The Same Engine As The R* Table Tennis???   Just False Info.  ...

I Think Rockstar Usually Release's Info On GTA's In May..   Not Long people.

Lol. You'll come across alot of those on gamespot...ESPECIALLY in this forum. GTA will be very intresting with the star wars engine. Can't wait to see how the finalized project will turn out for both games.

Not trying to rain on anyones parade but GTA isnt rockstars only game. Its a possibility that this engine wont be used for the next GTa. Though it would be sweet.
