I am looking for a game where you get to choose your party like Final Fantasy one was. I don't care if it's old, or what system it's on, but if you could just tell me a little about it and if it's worth playing through. I liked the other final fantasy games, but felt like choosing characters at the beginning of the game allowed me to want to play it through a second time without it being stale.

well check the review of dragon age arogins, i highly recomend it allthpugh it is different style of rpg
Valkyria Chronicles. You can get it for 20 dollars from gamestop I think still. It is an amazing game and you will love it. You get to choose which characters and classes you take into battle with you and it is turn based. I don't like RPG's that much and this game captivated me.

well check the review of dragon age arogins, i highly recomend it allthpugh it is different style of rpg Whats the combat like in DOA? Like compare it to another game, it looks to world of war crafty to me and i hate thoughs time of games.
i recommend fire emblem, disgaea2 or 3, tales of symphonia 1, blue dragon, and dragon warrior 3, these are all very good games most are very flexible in customization, specially disgaea

The gameplay to me felt exactly like WoW and while I don't particularly care for the gameplay, I love the story and the characters so if you're looking for a good story-driven RPG I definitely think its worth checking out.
