I am looking for a game where you get to choose your party like Final Fantasy one was. I don't care if it's old, or what system it's on, but if you could just tell me a little about it and if it's worth playing through. I liked the other final fantasy games, but felt like choosing characters at the beginning of the game allowed me to want to play it through a second time without it being stale.MikeSukewell check the review of dragon age arogins, i highly recomend it allthpugh it is different style of rpg

Like compare it to another game, it looks to world of war crafty to me and i hate thoughs time of games.
Since you're asking in the PS3 section, I'll only list PS3 games, lest I incur the wrath of the hammer-happy Mods.
Dragon Age: Origins
Valkyria Chronicles
Eternal Sonata
Enchanted Arms
Also, Star Ocean: The Last Hope International and Final Fantasy XIII are released very soon.
Valkyria Chronicles is what you're looking for. You get to completely customize your squad with so many completely different characters.

The gameplay to me felt exactly like WoW and while I don't particularly care for the gameplay, I love the story and the characters so if you're looking for a good story-driven RPG I definitely think its worth checking out.
