PS3 redesign: a possibility. More likely a color addition for Americans, with the Satin Silver DS3 already hitting American Shores this June. PS2 redesign: absolutely not. The 90000 series just launched in the U.S. in September. Alot of people still don't realize that the PS2's in stores now are much different than the original 70000 series slims from the past five years. PSP redesign: God lets hope not. I finally made the plunge and upgraded from a 1000 to a 3000 a couple months ago. There is no need for an original PSP redesign!
Seems to early for a redesign. Although Sony is bleeding money and maybe they have found a way to cut costs for the PS3. I still have doubts. I think chances are much much better that they will show the different colour options.
I don't think this will happen. but who knows. Sonys video game department has been struggling so they may just want to change it up. More press and what not. I wonder if they make it siver if they kind of went the Macbook way. Just a crazy assumption. just when i saw the picture i instantly thought of Macbooks lol.

Way too soon for a slimmed down version, especially without a price drop happening yet. If the rumor has any fact to it, it's probably just a color change, adding things like Bluetooth 3 could introduce an uneven ground where you would have games that in some way or another require BT3. It's not time for a redesign of the PS3, not for a long time me thinks. They need to have a price drop in order for more people to adopt it, which it might even be too late for that as the 360 has such a strong installed base due to how long it has been much cheaper to purchase than PS3. We'll just have to see though, I'm cautiously optimistic for what the PS3 has on the horizon.
