Rumour: Ratchet & Clank next for the HD remake treatment

Rumour has it the PlayStation 2 instalments of Ratchet & Clank could be making their way through the HD transformer and into the current generation. According to the 'Rumour Machine' column in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK, 'The Ratchet & Clank games may be next for an HD re-release.' The Insomniac Games created duo first emerged back in 2002 for the PS2, with multiple sequels – two of which were released on last generations dominating console – and spin-offs following. Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One is currently in development at Insomniac, and is due to launch for PS3 later this year. Both characters will also feature in Nihilistic Software's PlayStation Move Heroes when it releases later this month.Link

im pretty sure they will do it. i mean seeing as how the remakes are making them money cuz ppl actually buying them. im sure they will. by the end of the ps3s life cycle or once it reached its 10 year mark. im sure well have 50% of the ps2 games remade in hd for ps3 by then

Maybe 50% of the good games. Do you remember how many games there were for PS2? I'm not sure, but I know that there were at least 1000/
