Yeah, and those visuals sure look beautiful. Also, it pretty much confirms the rumor that the protagonist is hispanic. His voice has hispanic written all over it.
Is it me or does the main character look like Tommy Vercetti? Could we be playing as an older Tommy? Hmmmm.........
Pretty sure that it is him. Sounds like Ray Liotta to meIs it me or does the main character look like Tommy Vercetti? Could we be playing as an older Tommy? Hmmmm.........

sand andreas with tommy vercetti=instant goty.

We can all speculate that the reason why Rockstar Games skipped Grand Theft Auto : Vice City was because they wanted to include some of it in Gran Theft Auto 5: San Andreas.

I dunno, Tommy's gotta be pretty old by this point. Considering his mid-80's heyday (and the fact that he'd been in prison since the early 70s then) he's gotta be in his 60s by now. not that isn't possible to be doing that kind of stuff at that age, but I don't see Rockstar going with a protagonist that old.

If you look at the trailer it looks to be modern not early 90's. Just look at the cars. Also, IGN confirmed it was not Ray Liotta's voice in the trailerI dont think we will play as Tommy he is to old for the things that will happen, a good chance is that you will play as low-level guy who gets involved with Tommy in some way. Think Rockstar wanted to visit Vice City as well as using LA.Is it me or does the main character look like Tommy Vercetti? Could we be playing as an older Tommy? Hmmmm.........

how are people thinking this is tommy. THE VOICE IS CLEARLY HISPANIC/SPANISH. he has an accent, i don't understand the ridiculous tommy assumptions.
I'm with you. I definitely hear a Hispanic accent. Others don't, though, so I'm just trying not to assume. I just wish they would hurry up and tell us more.how are people thinking this is tommy. well it's good and bad. bad in the sense that it makes me wonder if rockstar has the same talent as when SA originally came out (come on, 2 games now using past locations). good in the sense that SA is my favorite GTA so hopefully it'll capture all that made that game good (which means bringing back stuff they took out of GTA IV).
As long as it doesn't try to be as serious as GTA IV and is just an all around fun game I think it'll be pretty great.
It's also a plus that it's in SA since it'll actually offer a variety in environment rather than the one bleak, boring city that was GTA IV.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing how this game turns out. Hopefully it's not just SA nostalgia talking.
Oh come now, if you think the reason Rockstar has been going back to past locations is because they are running out of creativity, you're sorely mistaken.well it's good and bad. bad in the sense that it makes me wonder if rockstar has the same talent as when SA originally came out (come on, 2 games now using past locations). good in the sense that SA is my favorite GTA so hopefully it'll capture all that made that game good (which means bringing back stuff they took out of GTA IV).

Anyone else thinking the dude running from the helicopter is CJ? I did hear that there will be more than one "protagonist".
Seeing that there's no central protagonist in the trailer, I'm guessing there will be more than one playable character.Random-AxeI agree.

well i don't see why they wouldn't make a new city/location by this point. I though RDR was far too baren for the size of the map. They really have been disappointing me a lot this gen. I'm fine with bringing SA back as long as they bring back the fun of the original SA. I'd just like to be able to explore somewhere completely new in a GTA game.
Rumour: 2.5 times bigger than Red Dead Redemption??? Looks like it is just LS.

Rockstar have confirmed it is NOT san andreas. It is only Los Santos. BibiMaghooLos Santos is a part of San Andreas
