More exclusives from the PS3 interests me then the ones on the 360.nelfer320Didn't you just answer your own question?
I also hear that some multiplats are better on the 360 than the PS3. Can someone explain to me how?nelfer320A lot of 3rd party multiplatform titles are better on the 360. This is a fact. Others on the other hand are better on the 360. The only safe choice is to own both consoles, or just live with the fact that on either console there will be better versions of some titles on the other.
Do it. If you can only have one, PS3 is better I think. Better games... and multiplats will probably be equal from now on. But if you want to play all the older multiplats... and worry about minute differences like a lot of fanboys here... then keep the Xbox 360.
I would say keep the xbox. you already have 11 games and trading them in would financially not be a smart move. The PS3 is a good system and while you might be missing out on some exclusives for it from what youve said it seems you prefer games that are multi platform anyways so i think it would be smarter to keep what you have and if in the future there are some ps3 games you really want then you should invest in a PS3. But i know exactly what you mean, for me i grew up with playstation and i realized that no matter what consol i purchased i would be missing out on something. The thing that pushed me more to the ps3 from the xbox was that for me at the time it was more affordable.
I recently gave my brother my 360 and got a ps3. I do miss a few of the 360 only titles. However I am deeply engrossed in games such as mgs4, uncharted, and killzone 2. As for the 360 being a better experience in multi platform games... I don't think it is noticeable. Because when I play a multi platform game I buy it for one system not both. So the minor amount the 360 may be better would not be noticeable. I have played fallout 3 on both systems and I honestly couldn't find much of a difference. Supposedly the 360 has better graphics in that game, but it looked like the ps3 had a bit higher quality textures. The ps3 does have the blu ray player built in which I like alot. Even thought the load times can be ungodly. If possible I would keep the 360 and get a ps3. Make room for it! :D
[QUOTE="Symphonycometh"]Keep the box, get a PS3. nelfer320I don't have space for another console. Also, I have alot of games. Then yes get a PS3
The future is now. There are enough PS3 exclusives that interests me. I must get it.I would say keep the xbox. you already have 11 games and trading them in would financially not be a smart move. I'm gonna start saving up. I'm getting a PS3! BTW, one last question. Wasn't there suppose to be a price drop for the PS3 this spring? Thanks a bunch! I'm gonna save up for a PS3 as well as keeping my 360.nelfer320Am doing the same thing even though I have had 2 ps3 but I kept regretting selliing them off!
It depends how much you care about your XBox 360 games. Rule of thumb is to never sell a system if you think you'll regret not being able to play some games later.
In my experience, the PS3 is a solid system. If you feel like you need to sell your 360 to buy a PS3, and the PS3 exclusives really mean that much to you, by all means, do it. It's true that generally multiplatform games do look better on the 360, but this is really the only major difference between multiplatform games on the two systems and you'd have to be pretty anal about your graphics to even notice (in my opinion). The way I see it, though, 360 exclusives are way overhyped and don't begin to stack up against games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2 (though I know you're not much into first-person shooters), or Uncharted.
