Attention! I currently have a Wii, DS, PS2, and an Xbox 360. I am thinking of getting a PS3. PLEASE no fanboy comments. I want honest opinions and advices. I currently have 11 games on my 360. Only 4 are exclusives titles in which I haven't played as much as 7 of my games which are also on the PS3. I don't even play Halo or Gears of War. I'm not into FPS or TPS. I'm more into action adventure, fighting, platformers, and action/turn-based rpgs.More exclusives from the PS3 interests me then the ones on the 360. I keep feeling like I shouldn't get a PS3 cause IDK anyone else who has one. Most people I know have a 360. I also hear that some multiplats are better on the 360 than the PS3. Can someone explain to me how?

A lot of 3rd party multiplatform titles are better on the 360. This is a fact. Others on the other hand are better on the 360. The only safe choice is to own both consoles, or just live with the fact that on either console there will be better versions of some titles on the other.

I bought a PS3 because it will be cheaper in the long run, I also like the PS3 exclusives more than the xbox ones but that's just my opinion :P But as you already have an xbox as well as many people you know having it I would reccomend keeping it.

I'm always against selling-off one system to acquire another. not only do you lose finacially, you might also regret not being able to play solid future exclusives. Save up, and buy a ps3, selling your 360 should not be an option (unless you purely loathe it).

Do it. If you can only have one, PS3 is better I think. Better games... and multiplats will probably be equal from now on. But if you want to play all the older multiplats... and worry about minute differences like a lot of fanboys here... then keep the Xbox 360.

I would say keep the xbox. you already have 11 games and trading them in would financially not be a smart move. The PS3 is a good system and while you might be missing out on some exclusives for it from what youve said it seems you prefer games that are multi platform anyways so i think it would be smarter to keep what you have and if in the future there are some ps3 games you really want then you should invest in a PS3. But i know exactly what you mean, for me i grew up with playstation and i realized that no matter what consol i purchased i would be missing out on something. The thing that pushed me more to the ps3 from the xbox was that for me at the time it was more affordable.

I recently gave my brother my 360 and got a ps3. I do miss a few of the 360 only titles. However I am deeply engrossed in games such as mgs4, uncharted, and killzone 2. As for the 360 being a better experience in multi platform games... I don't think it is noticeable. Because when I play a multi platform game I buy it for one system not both. So the minor amount the 360 may be better would not be noticeable. I have played fallout 3 on both systems and I honestly couldn't find much of a difference. Supposedly the 360 has better graphics in that game, but it looked like the ps3 had a bit higher quality textures. The ps3 does have the blu ray player built in which I like alot. Even thought the load times can be ungodly. If possible I would keep the 360 and get a ps3. Make room for it! :D

if you have a pc, and a ps3 you dont need an xbox. xbox exclusives come out for pc after a bit. i have fable and gears on my pc. i can wait a few months to play them. also if you dont trade in your 360 for a ps3, chances are youll be trading it in for another 360 when it rrod on you. every 360 owner i know has had to send back their xbox, and some of them multiple times. the ps3 has more capable hardware with bluray and cell processor, etc., but if you like xbox live, and you have no other way to listen to music or talk to friends while playing games, then you might miss the xbox. these are some features that make me jealous, but im not going to buy the console for it, ill just pick up the phone and turn on my stereo until sony fixes it.

Get a PS3. There are more platformers and adventure games on it which are exclusive. Such as Uncharted: Drake's fortune!

I'm gonna start saving up. I'm getting a PS3! BTW, one last question. Wasn't there suppose to be a price drop for the PS3 this spring?

It was rumored that there will be a price drop soon, sometime in spring or middle to late summer. But just a rumour at this point. Don't hold your breath, as Sony is pretty stubborn on the matter of pricing. I don't think 400 is too pricy for a PS3 however, considering the quality of the machine and what it can do. The quality difference of multi platform games on the 360 vs the PS3 has always been NEGLIGIBLE, and the few cases where the differences were considerable are on games that were made fairly early on in the PS3's life, or on games that aren't very good anyways. The 360 does have more games, but I challenge any 360 owner to actually work out what percentage of those are worth playing. Once you separate the glut from the pack, the number of quality titles are comparable to that of the best the PS3 has to offer. Bottom line, every issue that one would have against buying a PS3 has been way overblown and sensationalized to a point of propaganda. Those still sticking to these dated arguments comes off as somewhat dated themselves. Buy a PS3, its an awesome system.

It depends how much you care about your XBox 360 games. Rule of thumb is to never sell a system if you think you'll regret not being able to play some games later.

In my experience, the PS3 is a solid system. If you feel like you need to sell your 360 to buy a PS3, and the PS3 exclusives really mean that much to you, by all means, do it. It's true that generally multiplatform games do look better on the 360, but this is really the only major difference between multiplatform games on the two systems and you'd have to be pretty anal about your graphics to even notice (in my opinion). The way I see it, though, 360 exclusives are way overhyped and don't begin to stack up against games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2 (though I know you're not much into first-person shooters), or Uncharted.

PSWii60 is the ideal way to go. It's like the choice is steak or lobster, but really the best choice is surf and turf (the wii can be an enjoyable beverage of your choosing).
