Seriously... Call of Duty 4 is not the best Multiplayer game...

COD multiplyer is so boring, everytime I tried to play it at my friends, we eventually gave up and go back to play warhawk. COD multiplayer is basically a glorified rainbow six multiplayer. The only word to describe it has to be boring.

Is this game the best online shooter? I can't say but it's very close. Personally, I never favored FPS shooters much until I picked up RFOM. I thought that game was great. R6V and GRAW2 later, I started to like FPS more. Then came Warhawk. Warhawk is addictive but it did have some problems like not being able to play with friends online or not being able to communicate with them in-game. With these existing issues and the timing of all the new games coming out, I knew Warhawk was not going to stay in my system for too long. Then came COD4 and that game is just sick!

To Op, you obviously don't like realistic tactical shooters to say that the game is slow paced. It's not slow paced but it's very realistic in terms of gameplay, which I favor more than running and gunning kind of games. Warhawk is more of your game based on that comment you made. I also doubt that a weekor so later that COD4 will be collecting dust (I laughed at that). The game is that good!

In this case you're a minority mate, and quite frankly no one cares for your negative opinion. If you have such a strong dislike for a game keep it for yourself, or you can try system wars, there is always someone who would agree with you there.

Wow, r u serious? killing people quicker made COD faster paced? What a non sense. Warhawk, unreal tornament are fast paced, although it takes a lot of clips to kill someone. Killing poeple faster is not fast paced.

For ME , Aliens vs Predator 2 online for the pc is the best . NO i dont have a PS3 .. im waiting to see if MGS4 (the final product) is any good before i buy 1

Cod4 is the best multi-player game on PS3 IMO,(i have it for 360 but im sure there pretty similar) warhawk is fun but it's not really on the same level as cod4, IMO warhawk is mainly a vehicle combat online game, as the gunplay is quite poor.

I still enjoy warhawk but cod4 is what PS3 gamer's should be playing online.

Well, I only got Warhawk because of the headset and because I thought it would be fun. I was wrong..
As for COD4 being the best MP game ever, well I can¨t really say because I don't own it..

From what I have been hearing from everyone who has played it, they all say it has a very good and fun MP. I just laughed when you mentioned Halo 3 because that games is far from being the "best" MP game out there. Halo is one of those games that get boring after an hour.

Sure its fun but its Mp is flawed and that is the sole reason why so many people either sold it or are not playing it anymore. Melee, unbalanced weapons, ranking system etc. are extremely unbalanced. For example if I swing a gravity hammer against another person who is holding it, it will all depend on who swinged it early not your health. Once I was playing a match and this guy hit me witha melee hit andIwas dead even though I had fully recharged shield. I went like WTF?

It is just the same as Halo 2 with less variety in its MP. I mean come on. (11 maps) in the whole game. Even the 3 year old UT 2K4 has 10 times the amount Halo 3 has which is pathetic. I am not one of those people that look for the quality of the maps, I look for the quantity. I dont really care what map it is or if it is designed for that game type as long it looks different than the other maps. Forge is just a gimmick and its designed for those people who can devote hours to video games which some people can't. And anyone who bought it for single player (only) would be ripping his hair out because it ended after 6 hours.

I ma not hating on the game and I am just saying that its far from being the best MP game let alone the best game ever made which the Halo fanboys make it to be. You have fun with Halo 3go ahead play it rather than COD 4 and just like previous posters said, no one cares about your negative opinion. I can say the same thing for myself after saying things about Halo 3 but atleast I backed up my negativities towards the game with reason which you were missing.

Agreed. With all the problems and faults with the game Warhawk isnt very enjoyable. Truth is, its fun for a week or 2 but then its boring...

COD4 offers a much better experiance overall, its a great MP.

I haven't played the multiplayer side of this game yet, but the single player action gives me high hopes. Still, the omission of split screen online play is a big knock against it for me. When friends come over we still fire up Warhawk, and if Haze's multiplayer is strong when it comes out then we'll probably pick that over CoD4 just for the splitscreen.skirlnik

The omission of split screen is one of the reason I don't like this game at all and will get Haze. No split screen, probably because they fear split screen will lower the graphical quality too much. But whatever their (developers) rational is, a modern shooter without split screen online, has to be a downer for lots of poeple. (there are a LOT more gamers out there who don't buy this game than gamers who would buy this game)

I'd have to disagree with you and say that COunterstrike is a better FPS multiplayer game than Halo 3 is. More people have played it, and I think that FPS games shoud stay on PC.
