seriously sick of these delays.

at first i didnt care because they were mediocre multi-plats getting delayed, now to hear that other games like blacksite and now UT3 delayed(was gonna get the pc version anyway),GTA4,this is really starting to piss me off, delay after delay and sony is pretty much screwing themselves over for this holiday season.

Agree... Although on the up side, now I can get Uncharted and Assassin's Creed without worry, as I was only going to get 2 games in november anyways.

And I was also gonna get UT3 on pc, but im sure this delay will kill UT3 on ps3... Most probably many were going to get it on PS3 because of it being released way ahead of xbox, and together with pc, but now that its also delayed, why wait when you can play on PC.. for cheaper i might add.

Bad for the PS3, but good for me. Now hopefully I will not go completely broke this fall. I will now be able to give my credit card a little rest, and just go broke in the spring now. Awesome.

This seems very unique to the software industry and to games industry specifically. I mean you don't see movies getting delayed right? I wish there was some kind of a penalty for the developers that delay a game with an approved release date. I mean we as consumers shouldn't be treated like a bunch of junkies who will just wait in any case. I'm not saying work faster I'm saying dont' give me date commitments unles you are 100 certain that you will deliver. Any thoughts?

It's a bit frustrating, however I always try to look at positive side. If the game is delayed I'm hoping it's to work on it more to get a good finished product.

In the end if the game is rushed, it will sell bad and we as gamers will suffer as well. I really don't mind the wait as long as the final product is a good title. I'm sure this holiday season those games that were meant to come out in time won't be able to is also a pain for developers and publishers.

They are missing the income profit for betterment of the game quality, I have to give them credit for that.

I'd like to have games out in time, but sometimes things get complicated I guess.

Let developers take their time, just release a good game I say ^_^

Delays aren't bad. It means instead of devlopers shoving out unfinished products (looking at you KOTOR 2) They decided to take the extra time and finsh the game, which is alright by me. Besides theres tons of stuff coming out this winter.... well as of now anyway...DepressedHippie

Eventhough, i agree with you partially. There is an upside to the delays. This can possibly mean that the game is not ready yet to be released or they need to optimize it to its best performance for the PS3. I rather wait a little longer than getting a glitchy game.

Also, it is not Sony's fault that it's delayed, it is the developers. Get your facts straight.

Those games are excluded because they are from UBISOFT, the laziest developers ever. Please don't compare UBISOFT to Unreal Tournament.

ubisoft arent that lazy there is groups of them that are well lazy but they have made a lot of good games like prince of persia. now talking about ea...everything they do is lazy instead of spending time making a proper port they delay the game and spend the time playing solitare

Prince of Persia went down hill after The sands of time. I'm sorry, i still think majority of them are lazy. They are like EA now. Everything they do are multiplatform.
