chill out, There aren't many jrpg's on any of the 3 systems. Wii will have monster hunter and tales of symphonia 2 and rygar when ever that comes out. 360 has blue dragon eternal sonata lost odyssey and tales of vesparia. Blue Dragon is a dragon quest rip off for the most part. Lost Odyssey is like Final Fantasy only it has to load everything for 30 seconds, some people liked the story, some people did not. They just put out wilds arms 5 on ps2 last year and it takes like 3 to 4 years to make a sequel to an rpg in these new generation days. There is an rpg in development by 5 japanese companies, the game is called cross edge or something like that. It has only been confirmed for japan so far, but if they have Capcom, Namcom Nippon-ichi Software and 2 other companies making one game, you can bet it will be released everywhere sooner or later.
So pretty much I am assuming you only have ps3 and not any of the other systems, all I can say is expand your tastes or get another system to go along with the ps3. Everyone thought that games would be out faster on all consoles across the board but they aren't so go back and replay an old rpg or something because these "ps3 has no games" posts are getting rather old and frankly most people have moved on so why don't you.
I like fighters and think Tekken 6 should be out now and it isn't but you don't see me making posts on how ps3 has no games or fighter or anything.
It also breaks down to this: North America has the biggest market for video games and in this region shooters, warlike games, and realistic racers are what most people are intersted in, so that is where most developers put their money. Japan's gaming market is almost so small it might as well not even be there. The ps3 does not do so well over there and so companies aren't going to risk making rpg's for a system with a small fanbase. Even the most popular system the wii over there only sells about a quarter as much there as it does in NA or EU and most of the games there flop 2 times harder than they do in other areas of the world as well. Only the Mario games and the casual games like Wii fit and Wii sports did well. Even the Dragon Quest swords game wasn't as successfull on the system.
Your going to be waiting awhle for jrpg's no matter which current generation system you have and that is that.

wow dumbest post i read ps3 not doing well in Japan do you know how freaking large dragon quest and final fantasy is in japan dont get me started on Mario
