There's some great games in there, amirite? (Not a complete list, and games aren't released yet) Can you see how crowded the "shooter" genre is at this point? I'm starting to get to the point where it all feels like the same ol' same old.

So, am I just crazy, or are there other people out there who are hoping that 2008 gives us a stronger showing of other genres?

Shooters are my specialty.

Easy to sell, easy to make....the formula for a good shooter is already out there, and the companies don't have to do much in the way of innovation to make a decent shooter. Its a shame too, cuz I'm really tired of FPS's, thats all Xbox 360 had before I came over to the PS3, and I just want something that I can enjoy without looking down the barrell of a gun.
