hiphopbeats- i'd still give it a try bro, i was skepticle too when i heard they shoehorned multiplayer into it but i went ahead and got it after watching some utube footage and even if you're like me and only interested in the story mode its a really bad@ss game, took me about 9 hours to beat it first time and its addicting as hell, but if you're not wanting to spend full price just wait a few months for the hype to die down then the price will prolly drop to about $39.99, or u can prolly just get a used copy at gamestop for even cheaper, they may have multi-fvcked this game but its still pretty lengthy and very fun to play. ;)

Oh yeah, I'm definitely going to pick it up eventually as the campaign looks fun as hell. But I'm on the fence whether to get it at a price drop or waiting until the Complete Edition drops. No doubt this will win some sort of GOTY award and I know Rockstar will re-release it. I'm also anxious to see what single player DLC they have in store if any.

If it does indeed have a short campaign, then it better have a hell of a multiplayer! I am on the fence with this game; I just simply don't want to spend 60 dollars on a game that has a short campaign with no replay value.
Saw some footage of the campaign and it looks fun but with a short campaign (maybe 10 or so hours long) and main foucs on multiplayer, it looks more of a renter or bargain bin pickup. Anyone paying full price for this?

10 hours for sp campaign seems pretty long by todays standards. thats at least 2 or 3 sittings. i can finish a cod game in one sitting on veteran so thats pretty good. plus max payne games campaign aren't usually that long

I'm buying this Day 1 for sure (on PC). The campaign will last you 30+ hours if you play it properly (no auto-aim and on Hard difficulty). The multiplayer is great at well. This game has the best shooting mechanics of any I've played.

10 hours is fine for a campaign. I am content with 8-10 hour campaigns. If the story and gameplay is good, it is definitely worth playing. I would rather have 10 great hours of gameplay rather than milk it and fill the game with boring gameplay and storyline. And here is a tip... If it is a 10 hours campaign on normal difficulty, turn the difficulty up to the hardest setting and that may bring it up to 12-14 hours.
However, I don't see why anyone would pay $59.99 for any game though when you can just wait for a sale. I would never spend that much for any game. All games go on sale even the newest releases. Just wait for this game to go on sale.

if that is the case its certinly gonna be awhile, cause as u can see the last DLC listed is in fall.. i'd honestly be happy if they just added a few extra skins and a gun or two for the story, i mean damn is that asking too much from the game designers? how about a DLC that allows for use of the grenade launcher on any chapter? thats certinly appropriate givin u only get that gun on two parts in the entire game and it was obviously the coolest to use..
