I really want a psp and I don't know if I should buy it right way, because i'm worried that a new one will come out, or there would be a price drop. Also what are all the memory cards that the psp supports? Thanks.

Wait if you want, but it is awesome either way. If you are worried about price. Get it on ebay.

Ignore the 3rd post.

The is no psp2 or anything like it anywhere near being announced, Buyin a psp now would see it last for at least 2 more years. As for price drop Im not sure but I dont think a price drop will come anything soon seeing as its quite cheap really. As for the mem sticks i cant remember which ones exactly so just stick with Pro Duo.

This is just my opinion so.. you know.

I bought the PSP two years ago when it was released in the UK, I've played it only a few times, only bought a few games. I think it was the biggest waste of £200 I've ever spent. The games aren't even that good, not even the GTA's compared to the ones on the PS2. I think the only reason it was released was to compete with the Nintendo DS.

I wouldn't buy one, well not for more than £30, and then they use memory sticks to save your games on, similar to the ones in your mobile phone.

I have a PSP..bought about 2 months ago maybe... Now I was all excited about it and was posting on here how cool it is. However, upon playing all the cool games on it.. while it is impressive it does feel like a waste of money to me too. None of the games really pull me in to continue to play them.. One of the biggest issues on the console is that the controls suck really really bad.. the analog knub was not a good idea.. especially having only one :\ I do also have a DS Lite.. I have owned a DS since it launched almost 3 years ago (I think). While I dont think its better than the PSP.. I think its much more fun to play and the replay value with all the games I have beats out everything on the PSP. Its undeniable proof that graphics dont mean everything. Like AzA17, this is just my personal opinion so take it as you will. I would save your money.. borrow a friends for a week first or something. The PSP seems to do very well at making you have that fever thinking you NEED one.. I fell into it and now I regret buying one.

No, I had one and to me it felt like my biggest waste of money ever. It sat in my room for 2 years collecting dust.

I've played Burnout (Repetetive), MGS (Poor) Lumines is just crap I hate Rachet and Clank games and the rest I've never heard of.
