I'm finding the text all fuzzy, small, and the graphics seems all jagged, which I am playing my PS3 on a standard TV. How will a HDMI cable make a difference? Will it solve somewhat the edgy small text?
Cheers,

How old is your TV? If it was made within the past 10 years there should be component inputs (red, blue, green). If so, you may want to try using component cables to get a better picture if you're not already doing so.

Yeah if your TV has a component input, get component cables. You need component cables specifically for the PS3 (or PS2, they are the same), but you can get them on Amazon for about $5 or so.
Actually, depending on the connection your t.v has (and the game your playing), you can get a S-video cable for your PS3 to get it up to 480p. Some models will even let you use the Component AV Cables. Won't be much of an improvement, but some is better than none.Oh, so there is no way for me to enchance the text without a HD TV?

i'm playing ps3 on standar tv and the new game that have been released, especialy star ocean and final fantasy xiii, they work only with hdtv with a resolution of 480p minimum.but i did'nt know about into other cable than HDMI
it is soooo sooo much better. i went from SDTV to a HDTV with this cable last summer. it makes the expirience so much better and a lot more fun
Hmmm, looks like I'll need to start saving for a HD TV then. This has probabaly been asked a bunch of times, but a LCD would be the best bet? I don't want to spend too much but I hear Plasmas are generally alot more expensive?
Anyway, thanks for your helps guys :)

you can't use HDMI cables on an SDTV (for obvious reasons), just go out there and get a 1080p HDTV (they're real cheap now) and a HDMI cable.I'm finding the text all fuzzy, small, and the graphics seems all jagged, which I am playing my PS3 on a standard TV. if you have the money get an LED TV, they have contrast ratios upwards of 3 000 000:1 (meaning REALLY deep blacks). Because 3DTV is coming they're getting as cheap as $1400 in Australia.Hmmm, looks like I'll need to start saving for a HD TV then. *cough* dynamic, which means nothing.
YES GET ONE! It is soooo much better, especially if you have a bigger TV than 20". It makes everything look, sound, and play better. But be sure to adjust your sensitivity though.
