What do you guys mean by interlacing? I also have a PSP 3000 but I haven't noticed any issues at all regarding the screen.

Take a look at the picture in the signature above your post (the one with the cars). See the horizontal lines? That is what I see when I play Motor Storm or Gran Turismo on my 3000. I know that picture isn't supposed to be an example of interlacing, but it is earily similar to what I see. This only happens when there is motion on the screen. If the image is not moving, there are no lines. It is very pronounced when there is a vertical bar moving across the screen. Instead of a smooth horizontal line, I see a very jagged line moving.
But, as I said in an earlier post, you stop noticing after a while. When I first got my 3000 (about 2 weeks ago), the interlacing drove me crazy. Now, I still see it, but I don't notice it as much. It's like when I first got my 1000 and 2000, the ghosting used to really bother me, especially playing racing games. When there was a lot a action on the screen, the picture would just turn to mud.
So you have to decide what bothers you more, ghosting or interlacing. I still think I prefer the 3000 screen over the others because of the higher contrast. I've gone back and played some of my older games and have seen background detail in some games that never showed very well on my 1000 and 2000.
Just played Silent Hill and noticed it. Doesn't really bother me. Thanks for the info. Do you know if the PSP Gos screen suffers from ghosting or interlacing?
psp go still suffers form interlacing.
