Should I get far cry 2 ? ?

I got dead space , now I wanna get a descent first person shooter , I wanna have fun ! not a game that doesn't deliver FUN ! the problem is that I am short on money , so do u recommend spending 60 $ for far cry 2 ? or should I wait for another game ?

Otherwise uh, get Far Cry? (Or Fall Out 3, it's a FPS RPG with lots and lots of guns)

I thought Far Cry 2 was fairly fun, but it's let down by a poor save system IMO, which can make it frustrating to play. I'm sure that if this can be overlooked you'll have a good time with it, though if you're unsure, I'd recommend waiting for the price to drop before commiting to purchase.

Ive been on fence about this game for a while... i cant decide between 1 out of far cry2, fallout 3, COD5.. i want one shooter this fall. Nobody suggest R2, the beta was crap (to me)

It doesn't matter anyways if the 360 version can do 1080p and the PS3 version cannot. The difference between 720p and 1080p are almost indistinguishable to the human eye on a screen smaller than about 48". No matter what console, you should get the game. There's a lot of freedom to do within a mission, you can take almost any approach. Also the PS3 version does have trophy support which is nice.anime_gamer007

all those games u recommended are bad accept for orange box... i wouldnt buy the orange box for ps3 because little amounts of people play TF2 and ut3 is probally one of the worst video games i ever bought and condemned has no multiplayer... get farcry 2 or littlebigplanet

I have the game, so I'll give my unbiased opinion8)

Graphics are amazing, as is the create a map system thingie (:P), but I find everyone online are just bullet sponges:? I can never kill anyone. Now I don't know if I have zero skill on the game or not, I just think the online is a little difficult to get used to, but very fun once you get into it :)

The single player.. Well the first hour its very "oh my god this game is amazing!", but it gets very repetetive after that. All missions see you drving all the way across to the other side of the map, killing some dude, driving back and getting another mission.

get it. its different to your usual shooter. it feels more real how you have to drive around look at your map (lol map reading the driving is hard). not everyone will like it but i think its awesome. rent it first.FatChuwawa

If they have a high tech map couldn't they get waypoints for this game? It's so tedious having to constantly looking at the map to see if you are going the right way. I always crash into a tree or some sort... sigh..
