It's very kiddy but for some odd reason its very addicting. Not to mention that it is very fun when your playing with friends online.
so is it worth it?? Honestly, I played the game for a few days, and it got repetetive, and building a level takes WAY to long. But i kept it because its fun to check once and a while for new levels...but I would recommend getting a diffrent exclusive like Naruto ultimate ninja storm, MGS4, or warhak

Little Big Planet is not Kiddie cause it doesn't have realistic looking people in realistic enviornments. Nor is it kiddie cause it doesn't have blood & gore. It's a side-scrolling adventure that happend to have kiddie-looking characters.
me me yeah its totally worth it, my copy is arriving today and dam i cant wait, i played like 2 or 3 levels at the sony store some days ago and dam i fall in love, yeah it looks childish, its childish but its dam fun, its like a new breed of super mario, it looked childish but everyone around the world hav played super mario, get the point?
Yeah I would recommend the game, it seems kiddy because of the simple fun you can have with it. But if you are creative and have some imagination then you can make some pretty challenging levels. Basically it falls some where between your average platformer and some horrorifying, nightmare difficulty level with a rube goldberg thrown in.
