Should I get Valkyria Chronicles?

Question: Will Valkyria Chronicles be a good addiction to my PS3 database?

More Information: I can't stand FF. I had Final Fantasy XII played 10+ hours and realised it wasn't for me. Strong violence and language are okay. Strategy gameplay will work. I can't stand repetitive gameplay, but if it has a good story then okay.

Games I like to play: Assassin's Creed / Burnout / Little Big Planet /

welll, if u r a rpg fan then get it. i have this game . it's a good game .it has a good story.u should use strategy. mostly it's a strategic rpg game with a good story.

Go for it. VC is nothing like Final Fantasy and it has a pretty solid story and some really great characters in it. If you're into strategy games and want something fresh, then this is a no-brainer.

VC is something every ps3 should at least try...

And it's not that easy either.. well unless you put in normal mode, but still it's pretty challenging as the game progresses...

VC is nothing like FFXII, so the fact that you don't like FFXII doesn't help answer whetheryou will like VC.

If you like SRPGs you will like VC. SRPGs appeal to people who like slower paced games and who like to think out a strategy before making a move. If that sounds like you, then give it a try.

I never played FF, but i picked up VC when it was 30 dollars and I absolutly love it.

For the love of god, YES! One of the best PS3 exclusives IMO.

I think the music is similar between the two games because I think its done by the same person. But other than that the two are nothing alike. VC is my favorite PS3 game, it never gets repetitive, great challenge, and satisfying death of your characters:twisted:. However, the story could of been a lot better but thankfully there is even an anime that brings out the characters more and back story.

I personally love this game but can see how it would not appeal to everyone. It is a great story with interesting and somewhat unique gameplay.You really have to expereience it yourself to see if it is right for you.

I've had my PS3 for 7months now and I have 6Games and 2Exiled total 8. It's not that I don't like rpg games or am a fan of them. I played many Pokemon games and enjoyed it along with YGO Capsule Monster Coliseum. The level up and ability upgrades are cool.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I'll just download the demo first then buy.
