should i open monster hunfter 2, or return it and get something different?

i got monster hunter 2, but i keep hearing mixed reactions on it...should i open it, or get a different game???? i love rpg games. i wanted to get FFT but its really confusing with the whole job thing. and i also wanted to get jeane d arc, or guitaroo man, or disgaea....so is monster hunter 2 worth it?trey555555

I did not like Monster Hunter, idk was pretty boring to me. I just got Disgaea and its really fun, but regaurdless of what i think, if you haven't tried it, just open and see if you like it, its going to be either a hit or miss. Btw there are alot of people that like it, so its not like its a select few. I say open it, and see if you like it, give it a fair chance.

It's borderline hit-or-miss. I picked up the first MHF yesterday, and it's a hit for me.

The MHF games don't feel like traditional RPGs...they're more like action-adventure.

Return it. The MH games are really, really mediocre. All you do is fight...and fight...and fight. If you're into games for plot and character development, you'll be disappointed. It's basically just a soulless hack and slash game.

lol here are more mixed reactions, btw fft's job system is great i'd take that over monster hunter any day
