First of all, let me say I'm a huge fan of the GT franchise. I've played all of the series since the first simulator arrived on the PS1. I'm a car enthousiast. And I would feel bad if I didn't buy this game.

I have a few concerns about the game however.

I've been searching youtube also for some GT5 uploaded video's. I noticed a huge lag. So much lag the game would be unplayable like this. When I buy the system including the game. I expect zero lag!

I currently have PGR4 for my 360. And the game runs incredibly smooth with absolutely no lag whatsoever. Yes I have to pay for the online service, but in my personal opinion its worth the money.

Also. Will the Prologue have licenses? I loved that aspect of the game. Licenses are my favourite feature of Gran Turismo. I hear they deleted it? That would be very disapointing if it were true.

The thing that fascinated me about the creator of the GT series (Kazunori Yamauchi). Its his passion his games. The high budget composed music in the GT4 intro. The game really shows you the beauty of cars.

How is the difficulty of the game? I like my racers challenging. I hope they haven't casualized anything?

Thank you for time!

PS: sorry for not linking the url. Glitchspot keeps giving me HTML error for it.

To me this game is a joke. Its insulting to me to release part of a game that consumers have to pay for, then release another, more complete version that will have to be purchased later. Also the price is rediculous, since its the same price that will have to be payed for the full game that will come out a year later. It really pisses me off that this is going down the way it is.

I've played the game (Not US version yet though until Tuesday) and this game is well worth the money. There was no lag and I haven't seen any jaggies either. For the tools out there, this game is not a demo because it's not the full version. This game is still larger then other full games out there that your paying $60 for so get real. Good luck ever finding a Demo EVER being this big. The gameplay is so much better then the previous games and it's about thime they got rid of that 6 car racing. A must buy game for everybody who was/is a fan of the GT series for sure.

Why is it so hard for people to decide on their own whetehr or not to buy a ps3? It's not that hard to do.

PS: Buying a ps3 for one game is kind of a waste.

Buying a system for just one game is a waste I agree with MS on that point. GT5 prologue is a DEMO and nothing more. Since you are a hardcore racing fan then spend $40 on the game to tide you over until the ACTUAL game is released. When buying a system you have to look at the big picture and game lineups before you decide to spend $. as for racing games on the PS3 as of now the selection is so-so......

Maybe for the full game, but not just for Prologue, but there are other great games that you'll eventually play so why not?
