Should I sell my 20gb PS3?

I used to have a 60gb PS3, but sold it and bought a 20gbPS3 due to the fact I rarely played it. Now, I want an 80gb PS3 and gamestop gives $200 for my 20gb. How much would I get on ebay? Keep in mind I don't have the original box that it came with.

Put iton E-bay for $50.

Then see how high the bets go. If it doesn't go as high as you want, then back out. You'll get less if it doesn't have the original box. Just say it works perfectly fine, and that they can return it if it doesn't.

if i were u ied use that 300 bucks u plan to add onto the 200 bucks from gamestop to get the 80 gig. towards a 360. then ull have both true next gen systems.

Sell it to me for $100 and I will give you my friendship, which is priceless.

On a serious note, you could maybe pull $300 on eBay with no games, but with the new $400 model coming out, I can't imagine the market for a used 20GB to be all that big.

Should've kept your 60 GB man. If you didn't use your PS3 that much, you should've just sold the 60 GB and not even bother getting the 20 GB. But whatever.

No, never sell an old model for a new model. The 20gb model has full backwards-compatibility compared to the now gimped 80gb model. If you really want more HDD space, just get a new HDD (I know you said not to suggest such a thing, but a good sized 2.5" HDD is cheap nowadays from places like newegg.com). Memory stick and SD slots are not that big a deal either, as a USB multi-card adaptor can be bought for as little as $5. And buying a new console for the sake of a chrome trim is INSANE.

LMFAO, I think that's the Ameritrade commercial or w.e, but that was a good one. To all the people saying don't lose the backwards compatibility my PS2 was dead last gen and I sold all of it's games and just have the backups.

I already have an XBOX 360. Three of them to be exact with 76games and I also have a wii. I'm trying to build up a good PS3 library that I will enjoy just like my XBOX 360 library.MJ0LNIR_SPARTAN

BTW, I never knew DELL offered 2x2gb, cause when my friends asked, they said they only do 4x1gb sticks and that 2x2gb would not be a selection in the near future. This was I guess around 3 months ago.

looking at those pictures, i know why i dont like LCD's or plasmas hanging on the walls... it looks crappy seeing all those wires attached to it. i prefer DLPs since it needs a stand and the wires wont be visible.ryank285

No, it's three the elite was counted twice. One was my home pic and the other was my vacation home pic. Yeah, I'm going to go get the wires taken care of, it's just messed up at the moment.

If you are willing to be selective, you can probably get a pretty good deal on the 20gb because it has the full backward compatiblity hardware. This will make it more valueable than the 40gb in several months. Unfortunately, right now, gamestop, EB games, and others are trying to unload their 20gbs (some actually still are out there) which means you'd be lucky to get $250. If you can wait 6 months or so, this won't be awful. If you just gotta have the chrome finish now, you are likely to get burned and ripped off. Based upon your pictures, that doesn't seem to be a problem. :)

i dont see an elite... all i see is a blue/purple 360 and a halo edition 360... unless the halo 360 is an elite?

umm well based on the fact that you have 3 xbox 360 and plenty of HDtvs, money is clearly no object here.....so hell man, buy away....hell buy three more PS3s and keep the one you have, you can have the whole family until the 40 drops....
