Do you guys think that Sony should allow users to change their user IDs? I know this has been talked about quite a bit on Podcast Beyond but haven't seen much talk about this topic over here at GameSpot. What do you guys think?

For more thoughts on this subject please see Sony Let us Change Our PSN Names

@jasonredemption: This has been talked about 1000x over the years since 2006 here as well.

I'm honestly don't care. When I create IDs, I take my time and am quite careful.

I'm happy with my online ID but it still would be nice to have that option.

@SolidTy: The option would be nice. I didn't play online with my PS3 when I bought it years ago. I like my name because its my dogs name, and he a pitbull, so I consider myself, and name as a pitbull, but I would still like the option.

As I've said probably a thousand times before, I don't personally care as I'm careful with naming, but I can see how others might if they didn't take time to name themselves proper the first time with any website name or gaming ID. I really wanted to tackle what the TC suggested; he never saw threads on the subject and I wanted to correct that notion that in fact, this is a very tired subject.

I think it would be a cool feature. I've been pretty set on my alias for the last couple of decades :p.

That being said, not everyone is like me and b00bluva424 may give some people regrets.

I personally don't care, but I don't see the harm in enabling such a feature. As I've said before, it would be easy money for them assuming it wouldn't be that difficult to set up such a system.
