PSN is perfectly fine right now. No need for Sony to charge.

Of course not. Us PS fanboys will lose bragging rights. Also, people would not want to convert to PSN when we all know xbox live has a better online comunity and experience. There is also enough mark-up on the games they publish and they would lose sales if Sony made PSN cost. So in the end, the best things in life are FREE...

Well it really depends on how much were spending on online in order to get it if we only had to pay like $30 a year I would be find with it, but $50ish I wouldn't spend because it would just be like MS and it would be a total rip-off and just to get our money but if it were $30 or under it would be fine, but since the PSN is really good already I'm going to have to vote no, and you should of made a poll so that we could know without reading all these answers

No. The PSN is fine the way it is and anything that needs improvement can probably be fixed with a firmware update.
