Sick and tired of hearing about lack of the PS3 games

As u can see my topic I am tired so very of tired about hearing people complain PS3 no good games=waste of 600 dollars.

First of I mention some top games that are out for the PS3

Not in any particular order

1. Restiance: Fall of man

2. Ninja Garden: Sigma

3. Motorstorm

4. Warhawk

5. Lair is great butonly ifthe controls work goodfor you personally

6. Virtual Fighter 5 or if prefer Teken 5

7. Oblivion

Those are 6 great games you can purchase for your PS3. Personally I see no reason on what PS3 owners have to complain about. All these games cover a wide variety of genres. I mean if shooters aren't for you then play Ninja Garden or if hacking and slashing isn't right for you play motorstorm.

And for some reason your not satisfed with these games then I don't want to hear you whine on the fourms or just sell your PS3 I am sure you weren't using it anyway.

All the games I got are awesome (In order of purchase date):

-Resistance: Fall of Man
-MotorStorm
-Oblivion
-Ninja Gaiden Sigma
-Warhawk

These are my only games but I'm having so much fun with them, especially the last 2... awesome games they are!

ive had my ps3 since christmas and ive played it everyday. there are a lot of great games out. these are the games i own resistance, motorstorm, oblivion, the darkness, warhawk, SSHD, flow, gripshift, mk2, and rampage. those games have been more than enough to keep me busy. im also getting these games when they come out = heavenly sword, haze, ut3, assassins creed, killzone 2, mgs4, littlebigplanet, resistance 2, motorstorm 2, god of war 3, and cod4.

Please for the love of God get Lair off you're list. Then I will agree with you. I'll admit the game looks nice but it plays horribly it is so unresponsive and for a fast-paced action it really is bad. bobaban

THEY'RE NOT UNRESPONSIVE. Just calm down when you're playing and don't jerk the controller around. Thats all there is to it. Oh and one other thing you should notice: ITS A MULTI-TON LIVING DRAGON, ITS NOT AN F-14 TOMCAT (haven't flown one in real life, but i'm pretty familiar with them in games).

The only problem with the games listed are there are no knock you socks off good games there. Other than Warhawk I have been enjoying it. RFoM is average at best. Played it an beat it. Ninja Gaiden is a xbox ports...so if you did not play it then I suppose you would enjoy it. I am. Motorstorm was well nothing that exciting. Played it for some time but it was ok at best. EEEK Lair....that is all I will say. Have not played Virtual Fighter. Waiting for that to come out on the 360 so I can play online. Oblivion. Played it on the 360 so I will not comment on that.

I am hoping Heavenly sword is good. The demo to me seemed like a button masher but I have hope. I compare it to GOW2 and Ninja Gaiden which both have great combos and counters. Hopefully HS will too. With KillZone 2(FPS)coming out in the next year or 2 that should help with games. Littlebigplanet look interesting and allot of fun. There are others but it seems like it is taking a realy realy long time to create games for this system. Hopefully that will change. I want to like the PS3 but right now it is a Blue-Ray player that can play an occational game.

When I got my PS3 in March, I was fairly distressed by the limited set of titles at the time. I made do with Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I got bored and started looking for something in about a month. I had the good fortune of scooping up Oblivion which singlehandedly kept me preoccupied until August. I spent August dejectedly playing demos and watching BluRay films.

Then came Warhawk. I have a feeling Warhawk will singlehandedly keep me occupied until Christmas. And a whole spate of games will be released between now and Christmas.

Is the game library where I would like it to be? No.

But it's growing by the month and in light of the limited selection or hardware woes that other competitors are suffering through, I am fairly happy with my console selection.

every new system is like this. just give it time and better games will be out.

Theres definelty a steady supply of games hitting the ps2 now, at launch the well was pretty dry with basically only resistance to occupy your time. But now between warhawk, GRAW, RSV, HS, NGS, oblivion, darkness, super star dust, tekken 5, virtua fighter, calling all cars, motor storm the system has developed a nicesized library in its first 9 months. Just look at what MS had to offer in its first 9 months, the ps3 has definetly a deeper lineup than ms did back at this same point last year.

There's a difference between a port and a remake. They're completely different.

In the end, there's enough games to keep the average person occupied. They're just as the TC said, spread over genre's. if you enjoy every genre- you're occupied. if you seem that your bored of your PS3- you got the wrong console.

I am not bored with the console. It is a kicking Blue-Ray player. I just hope game start showing up that is all. I have my PC, 360 to hold me over until that happens.

I love the way people on this board assume that everyone has to like the same games they do. Well guess what, it doesn't work that way. The PS3 DOES HAVE an extreme lack of good titles. I am hoping that TGS this months starts the floodgates opening from Japan because I hate 99.9% of Western made games and there are plenty of people who feel the same which is why the PS3 is also lacking in the sales department. I've had one since launch day in Japan but I wouldn't have even bothered to buy one yet if VF5 hadn't been released in Feb.

The PS3's launch was one of the worst in history, it's right up there with the Mega CD in Japan. Except the Mega CD had Lunar The Silver Star released on it six months after it launched, which single handedly sold systems and the PS3 sure as hell has no Lunar quality title yet!

but then again, I'll actually be using it for those entire 6 months rather than having it collect dust. OH, and there is warrenty, so yeah, 6-month package please!

The PS3 has been out for about 10 months now and it has a small handful of good games. You listed 6. That's not that great really after 10 months.

I bought a PS3 and i only own a couple and i can't think of any others currently out i want. On the flip side i own 40+ 360 games. The PS3 does have solid games but just very few. Hopefully by the end of the year that changes.

For people without the other consoles there are alot of great games, for us others it has been slightly slim pickens. I bought MLB 07 in April and play it almost daily. I bought NG Sigma in July, a two month span. And now I have bought Warhawk in late August almost a full 2 months later. The summer is always bad with gaming droughts, but some more quality PSN titles could have made up for it, like XBLA and VC games can.

As a side note this was supposed to be the time for 3 must buy titles..so far one has delivered and one sounds unplayable. Preliminary reviews on other sites have HS listed as a rental at best, which is pretty sad after delay after delay. I can't really think of many must own games coming out in September.

I got a xbox 360 and I don't like it the graphics suck the xbox controller is so weird I cant play with it the classic dual shock is better and sixaxis too.The xbox 360 are no exclusive they are from the pc or the "CALLED XBOX 360 EXCLUSIVES" come out for the PC after a year or two so xbox has no exclusives.

PS3 has better hardware and software and has true exclusives and its going have more games because Sony was always known for having more games on their console.

And let's not forget the awesome backwards compatibility of the PS3 (60GB version anyway). I've got lots of PS2 games to keep me happy until the new stuff comes out.fynne

i have a question about that... does the 80gig have backward compatibility, I'm planning on getting a ps3 this holiday season mainly because of the backward compatibility. i want to play a lot of ps2 titles i didn't have a chance to play.(GOW1 n 2, okami mgs 3)
