Also to play in HD you need component cables or HDMI.

Good exclusive games for new players to buy and good games to rent:

Buy:

Uncharted, R&C Folklore if your not afraid of reading :p.

Uncharted has trophies so buying it would be a smart thing to do now.

And I'm guessing that Unless you buy R&C Your not gonna be able to apply the next expansion of the game and so far it looks real good.

and folklore is a very nice little game that lasts for quite a long while and if your not the guy that has to shoot a zombie in the head every 5 seconds then you might even enjoy it like I did :p.

Rent these games man.

Heavenly sword one of the shortes and most WOW looking games on the PS3 so far fun to finish it twice even and you can do it in a 3 day rent perioud.

Also rent Resistance 1 since it seems like Resistance 2 is gonna be awesome you should at least finish the first for obvious reasons but no real reason to buy this game now unless you can find it real cheap like I guess because the online is still pretty fun.

I guess you should also rent AC since It's not such a bad game as most people say it is...it gets repetetive yes but that's why renting it is a good choice since even if you end up disliking it it's not like you shelled out any real money for it to feel bad about it.

The PS3 is not known for a high rate of hardware failure but you should get a service plan for any purchase that cost over $100 bucks. I actually knows some one that is a manager on the Geek Squad and they told me if I ever wanted to tried my PS3 in for a better version that they would do it for me. This was when the 60gb was being replaced for the 80gb. Glad I kept my 60gb. Also congrats on your purchase. Enjoy

Some guys just like rockin' the sticker. It's like when rappers leave the sticker on their 59/50, makes it look like you just came from the store. Classic when the sticker is still on a busted TV/hat though, just looks dumb.
