yeah, i think thats the scret game sony has been developing for some time now, rememeber a lot of magazines telling "wow sony`s secrtet game looks amazing" i think this is it, so its been in developing for a while ;)

I think they will/should include smaller games (8 player to 64 player) You should have to meet a certain ping to get in the most epic battles. Still, its not like its being developed by someone who has no online experience. Why would they make such a claim after three years of development and not completely believe that they will deliver on it.

Isn't that exactly what 360 owners did when M$ announced FFXIII? Most of them aren't even interested in the game they are just happy to throw it in PS3 owners faces.

To the people who are talking about LAG where were you during the entire part where he said the PS3 is built for the FUTURE. I'm not sure about you but in my area they are offering FIBER OPTICS. I doubt bt the time this game comes out there will be as many problems as we are having now. Also they are using all new/ custom technology. YOU can not judge the game based on hardware and technology you are currently familiar with. I know it sounds like a joke but seriously they have prooven (MGS4 & HOME) that they are working on better things.

I think they put the PS3 out with a few games that will hold people and do for now, but they putting their main focus on games that will look awesome 3-5 years from now. I can't wait. Sony has NEVER let me down. My PS1, 2 & PSP STILL works and is the oldest things I have technology wise. Anyway sign me up!!

There is no way the game will be able to handle 256 player over PSN. Forget there is no way any online could handle it without some serious LAG.. Plus if it is just online, expect some sort of monthly fee, my fellow gamers.

the premise is certainly intriguing and exciting, but i'm going to need to see some actual in-game footage before i'm THAT sold on it. can't wait to see more though.

wel first off i never buy games on day one till i see reviews and stuff like that, and if this will have monthy fee(or whatever it's called) i'll never buy it(hope it wont)

i never thought 256 players online on just one map was even possible, if the developers manage to make it lag free then coungrats to them, shure hope this will turn out to be great can't wait to see more :-)
