signing in problem on psn

im having some issues signing into psn - i can access the internet through my playstation but am now allowed to visit playstation store or play online games ie anything which requires me to sign into the playstion network. I havent been able to play modern warfare online for a week - needless to say - this sucks large donkey sacks. tried changing mtu to 1492 and a lot of the other stuff suggested on trouble shooting websites - no good.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

sony staffmembers ay? I get the impression that someone coming here on the ps3 forum and asking for advice regarding an issue with their ps3 system is a suprise to you? I spoke to some tech guy from the number on the website - they told me that i should contact my internet provider as its a problem with my router, which is working just fine. So i came on here and thought that maybe someone else with a similar story might have a solution which i could use - whats the big deal?
