So far, it's good. Not great, not a 'bust', but it's good. I think the sixaxis is best implemented in Motorstorm and NBA2K8. (Free throws are done by timing a simulated freethrow gesture with your sixaxis controller, it's very precise and is a lot of fun to do.)
So again, it's neither a hit or bust, it's just good in a few games, and so far not used in any ground breaking way.
Motorstorm implements the Six-axis best.. Its no bust tho, its just not fully / properly implemented by developers yet..warbmxjohnits a bust until developers take the motion sensing serious
It's a bust for several reasons. A Sony claimed Rumble was last gen then ate their words and ponied up to Immersion for a settlement. Now we have the DS3 which makes existing Sixaxis controllers a waste. Secondly their isn't a game that it works well with. Rachet and Clank is better with the analog sticks and Lair is awful. Fact is I don't use the sixaxis for any games as of yet.atarigrad
the existing sixaxis controllers arent a waste, they still work and sixaxis still works in ds3
your comment about there not being a game that works well with it is really stupid, if you dont have many games that use it, how can you say it is bad?
personally i like it for driving games, i know motorstorm and bp use it, but does anyone with gt5p know if you can use it with that
