Hell friggin' yeah! I platinumed all three Sly games so I'm aching for a new one. Can't wait to play one made specifically for the PS3.

Can't wait for this game. I've been hoping for Sly 4 since I finished Sly 3 a few years ago and now they finally have a sequel.

I am a huge platformer fan. It's my favourite genre easily, but the Sly trilogy was an extremely mixed bag for me. There were many excellently designed levels, but equally as many broken and horribly designed ones.

I absolutely love the feel and style of the series and the new game seems to use the extra power of PS3 to really nail that style. I'm confident it will be the most polished Sly yet. That being said, it appears that it will be developed by Sanzaru and not Sucker punch as you can clearly see Sanzaru's logo at the begining of the trailer. Sanzaru was responsible for the HD porting of the Sly Trilogy to PS3 and the PSP game Secret Agent Clank.

Saw the announcement coming, after watching the "special" movie by beating all 3 Sly games in the Sly Collection.

Well, rather this than Jak & Daxter. But between LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet & Clank, Super Mario Galaxy, and Donkey Kong Country Returns, the last thing I'm aching for is another platformer.

But that's not to say I didn't enjoy Sly 2 and Sly 3 on the PlayStation 2.

I personally think Sony has gotten better platforming franchises with each console. The Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games failed to make an impression when the PS2 rolled around, but great franchises like Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper were born. R & C has obviously done pretty well on the PS3 already, with LittleBigPlanet as the newbie that has quickly become Sony's most critically-acclaimed franchise.
