So how good does a PS3 look on and SDTV?

I'm planning on buying a ps3 pretty soon and i want to know if its worth playing on a small SDTV? I don't own an HDTV nor do i plan on getting one any time soon.

So is it worth playing on an SDTV?

It looks a lot better than the ps2, but HD looks fantastic. I played my ps3 on SD for a couple of months before I got my bravia, and I was still happy with the purchase.adumar94

i dont have a hdtv but i play on my 40" sdtv and i hate it..

its pretty blury usually, small text is still abit visible but its not sharp and clear..

i do have a 22" monitor which i play on sometimes and that rocks

it really depends on the type of SDTV ur talking about... just like HDTV's there are really good ones and very bad ones...if u were lucky enough to buy the last of the SDTV generation before HDTV then the image quality is really not that bad.

i have a pretty good SDTV and my ps3 looks fine on it... i dont doubt tht it looks fantastic on an HDTV but if u have a good SDTV itll be passable

hello i used to play the ps3 on a hdtv but the it broke and i had to go back to my old sdtv untill i get a new one about 4 month from date of this post.

but from my experence useing a sdtv relly take out the wow and the reson of even having a ps3 (which is better grafix)

so unless you have a hdtv coming soon its a bit pointless of owening a ps3

It looks good but on hdtv it's awesome.

Having trouble reading the text in the new Playstation store. I don't know if they designed the new store for Hi-Res, thinking they did.

Otherwise, can't complain. Of course never had an HDTV and can't imagine i will get one - far too expensive.

Play on SDTV for a while then when you have the funds buy a hdtv and the difference will make your eyes water with glee.

its like when you have a small tv for a long time then watch a massive screen and it seems huge, but get less an less big each time you see it. But try that in reverse it sucks!
