Hey can u be more specific cause im thinking of getting it but i dont know!! it gives me the felling of alice in wonderland like a really obscure RPG i played the game but i was so tired that o was like whatever its 2 dark for me but i errased the demo :P

I was lookin at games to get and i saw that ign gave folklore a 9.0 so i checked other sites and its just been gettin average reviews. Anyone have this game, how is it? is it worth spendin 60 bucks on or is it just a game that ign really liked for some reason... boratinator990

i only played the demo but i was sucked into the story. the only thing i don't like are the cutscenes, no voice acting x.xRacoonusDoodus

That's something I was a bit miffed about too. Then I decided to view it as more of a Graphic-Novel kind of thing and I actually like them a fair bit now.

If I didn't like the demo, would I not like the game? Because I thought the storyline was kinda dumb, the combat system wasn't that great and all around it didn't leave me feeling anything.

I'm not being passive agressive here, I really want another RPG (besides Oblivion) and this one is all we have for now.

play the demo or try it first by renting or from a friend

for me i like the game but i dont play it now its kinda boaring in some part of the story

For me this game gets the title of "Best Game to ever reach my Unfinished Pile"... I fully enjoyed the game i just have a huge problem picking up RPG's after I have put them down for more than a couple days, I always have to restart them. It was just bad timing, because folklore was in the middle of October by itself, but than quickly came the rush in November.

The game is very good though, and it has more Add-on content on the PSS than any, except maybe motorstorm and GH3 and Rock Band.

If you like RPG's and like your characters skills and abilities to progress it is a great buy

Its just awesome man, u get a really good combat system that gets better when u learn to combine the attacks of some folks, its not short at all as they say, music is great, they say stories for characters are the same, but I played Ellen story first and the Keats and that helps to understand the story a lot better, they complement, besides the same world for ellen has different folks than keats world.
And Im not spoiling, the end is really fantastic. The admosphere of supernatural murder cases is really great, its awesome man get this, u wont regret it if u like good story lines and gameplay.(the way u catch folks is pretty innovative)

They should make a movie of this game.

I really enjoyed the demo, but I can't justify $60 for this game. I'll probably rent it or wait until it hits $40.
