So I just played MW2....

Well, I've spent 8 days on it so far, I think it's much better than MW. It's really hard when you get a bunch of nerds camping everywhere though.
Haven't played it in a while, there's just too many campers these days.

I just play Fifa 10 a lot.

I really did enjoy the multiplayer, but its now an experience full of sad people who hack and cheat anyway they can because they suck at the game. At the time of release though, I thought it was epic.

I always did think that it was trashed way too much on Gamespot. It's not as good a COD4, but I still had a lot of fun with it.

My biggest complaint about MW2 is that at times it seems like the matches are too short. I like BFBC 2 as I've been in matches that go one for 20-30 minutes.

I again i hear people say there are hackers in this game when theres none? Glitchers and boosters does not equate to hackers.

I have already seen it and its seriously not that big of a deal. After you die once to them you see where they are doing it from and they dont move from there so just flank or leave them be as there areother players in the game you know? Some people ahve this problem where the must kill the guy that just killed her or her and then keep trying to chase them around and kill them which leads to them getting killed by the same person over andover and that leads to frustration.

Commando: The complaints are overated. I came into the game knowing what to expect of it but i didnt think it wouldnt have been as bad as people say. Most times your only screwed if you get stuck in a room with someone and many tiems i have killed people during the lunging motion by just hip firing.

Killstreaks:

Yeah this has the most complaints and yet its one of the easiest to deal with. So far i have in the 370s for deaths and i have only died 6 times to killstreaks. 3 to the Predator missle which no one complains about and isnt really "broken" or anything anwyay. Twice to the harriers which couldnt be helped as i got hit by the airstrike and then spawn exactly where I died above the harrier. Once to the ac130 as i was in the middle of te map when it was called in and ti spawns tehre so i was killed instantly obviously. I have been in a game where an enemy ac130 only got 3 kills and the chopper gunner got zero WITHOUT it being shot down. You know when every enemy killstreak is coming except the stealth bomber that NO ONE uses so all you have to do is run to a building when you hear it. If you cant just sit in a building for 40 seconds (ac130) or 60 seconds (the rest) to avoid these and would rather just run out and be in the open and die constantly then something is wrong with you.

I've played it, it's fun, but I'm holding out for Black Ops.

COD4 is unplayable at this point in time after playing MW2. The maps are better, it's faster paced, and the killstreaks just make it better (for the most part).

There are a few annoying aspects, but nothing at all that ruin the game. If anything ruins the game, its the people that play it. Especially campers and the occasional you stab someone and some how they stab you first (could be lag though).

BC2 was fun when I played the demo, but the maps were so large that it made the game slow paced I thought. Indeed I know there are vehicles, but it just broke the fun aspect of it imo. I'm not really a team player because I don't have a headset, so unless people add me randomly or they're actually friends of mine, I'm a loner and don't mind at all.

i hated BC2 with its clunkyness, I prefered KZ2 over it. I like that in MW2 u can actually interact with the killstreaks. People will say BUT U CAN DRIVE AND PILOT IN BC2, yea, i think its more overpowered on that game. I cant wait for black ops , and to see what new killstreaks it'll have. If every mario game follows the same concept and can get 10/10, then STFU about MW3 or BLACK OPS when it gets 9.0

MW2 gets alot of unwarrented hate around here. There are definetly things that are broken within the game but if your good enough you can counter them.

Drop shots/Hip Fire/Martyrdom vs Commando (its still hard to prevent getting killed but you'll die a little less :)), Sleight of Hand Pro vs Noobtoobers/RPG users, Ninja vs Heartbeat sensors and most important of all Stingers vs AC130/Chopper Gunner. If your team has 2 people with Stingers equiped that thing is going down fast.

MW2 gets too much hate here I think. People gotta remember its not the games fault people camp and use cheap combos like Scavenger+ Noobtube+ Claymore, etc... The only thing I actually hate about MW2 is the company that published it and charging outlandish prices for 3 new maps that aren't even accessible at the gamers' choosing. Personally I like any silenced, lightweapon with Marathon Pro, Cold-Blooded and Ninja Pro, I'm practically invisible and I rely on reflex and aiming rather than overpowered LMGs with stopping power. Its also fun using the Throwing Knife on unexpecting campers :)

the game isnt nearly as bad as ppl on here say it is. is it perfect? of course not but its still a great game overall in its own right. in my opnion the thing that makes the games annoying is the other players and the glitches and starategies thay abuse in order to win.

After only 8 horus and some minutes clocktime on mw2 i can say I enjoy it more than the almost 7 days i have on cod4.

It doesn't deserve all the hate it gets. It's not the game, it's the community. A game that has 10 million players is bound to have a certain number of people dedicated to finding, showing, and using these glitches. It is a good first person shooter that is hated on too much.zbdyx

Also, on Killstreaks: They need to be really basic. UAV/Pred/Harrier or other low level Killstreaks. You should be able to counter every killstreak by using Cold Blooded. dkjestrup

Wait now, which killstreaks in MW2 aren't countered by Cold Blooded?

As far as commando, if it bothers you that much, play Hardcore. Then when a guy sprints at you and tries to stab you, he'll actually die before he "teleports."

And to all the people who claim no one uses teamwork in MW2, I'm a counter-example. I agree there aren't many like me, but I always do the little things. If someone is planting or defending, I make sure I can watch their back. If a teammate calls in a care-package and I'm in the area, I help secure the area until he successfully picks it up.

^ I was mainly referring to the likes of AC-130 and Chopper Gunner. You're still easily visible. Anything where the player aims it isn't a good idea. Predator is the exception, as you only get one shot, but the blast radius needs to be toned down to the point where getting double kills is really difficult. Danger Close shouldn't effect Killstreaks. I also like to use teamwork. Personally, S&D is the best game mode. Having an objective stops everyone camping (the defensive team does, but it's supposed to). The time limit means people are under pressure, and clutching is the most awesome feeling. I would love there to be Elimination, Team Elimination, Survivor, Team Survivor game modes. Basically, Elimination gives you one life, with Team being two teams, basic Elimination being FFA. Survivor should give everyone 5 lives each, other than that is the same.dkjestrup

And I have to say the game is pretty damn great. Coming from a battlefield fan I can say that in a lot of instances the game takes EVEN more teamwork than BC2. Especially when you play HC. People are always complaining about the game being broken and blah, blah, blah but I don't think it is. I even see people say that it takes NO skill at all, well that is impossible. I actually dare people to try and prove this wrong. The game is an amazing online experience, and yes this is coming from a battlefield fanatic. Everything I played was flawless and awesome. I don't understand why such a great game gets such hate?

I just think however that the people complaining about the killstreaks are doing ti wrong. Thye dont seem that bad to me.

In one domination game i played last night the enemy team called in 4 chopper gunners and i didnt die once to any of them.

Only thing im not liking is the thermal scope snipers,it justs helps you way too much.
