I hear the campaign is a decent 10-15 hours long for one and two I hear that the online multiplayer is one of the better ones on PS3. Is this all true? And when it comes to the multiplayer - is it still well populated? Will all the DLC and such I figure its a good enough deal - what do you think? And no - dont tell me to wait for Uncharted 3 - not gonna buy that day one anyway. ALSO - do I need to have played Uncharted 1 to understand this game? Let me know people!!

Thanks.

Just buy it. The campaign is probably 11 hours straight up without looking for the hidden treasure chests. The multiplayer is good. The game of the year addition has all the DLC included. You will have access to the extra co-op story mode level and quite a few more multiplayer maps. The original was worth $60 hands down. The GOTY version is at $30. This is a no brainer.

The online community is still quiet popular and no you don't have to play the first to know the second.

I bought it used at gamestop a week ago and ended up just returning it. The game was great but once I finished the single player I didn't see myself going back and playing it again and while the multiplayer was great I couldn't justify not returning it and saving the money for Uncharted 3 when it comes out. Might be a good one to rent unless you really plan on playing the multiplayer alot.

I haven't played the first Uncharted. And I clearly understood the storyline of Uncharted 2, so no worries.

Well I got Drake's Fortune in a bundle when I got my PS3 and completed it. Then I bought Uncharted 2. However the games can be played in whatever order you want.

The singleplayer is 10-16 hours long and extremely fun, and never feels too easy or hard.

The multiplayer, in my opinion, isnt very varied, if youre looking for a good multiplayer experience, check out Call of Duty, Uncharted is more of a single player type of game

The multiplayer is however pretty populated.

Get it. I got it when it was 60. Nowadays you can get it for 30 or less.
