No interest whatsoever. The entire reason I bought a PS3 is because I got sick of the Wii's motion controls. Never going back to playing motion control games again. This Move thing has a big failure written all over it as well, unfortunately for Sony. I think Natal has more potential and that since most people seem to already have a Wii, they won't feel the need to get Move.
It's going to take a lot I would say...
This has to be more than just some "Wii ripoff". Especially if I'm going to ever think of coming near it..
I honestly prefer the traditional controller if I can use it over a motion controller. Hell, I even use the Gamecube controller for Mario Kart Wii:P
I was interested in it last E3, but tonights showing was lame, I am more interested in Natal. the problem with what Sony showed tonight was gameplay experinces we have been able to have on the Wii, the games they showed were very similar. They didnt come out with any thing orginal or something thats only on Sony. Socom seemed to control like any other 3rd person type game on the wii.
engadget, has a video up of them playing it and they said it does have Lag, not as responsive as they were saying, and at times the playstation move had a hard time telling what the player was doing.
I think I would be more impressed if I can use it like an actual gun in a full gun game (not a Wii-esque mini game). Like if there was a mod where you are actually holding a model of a gun and you had to have the butt on your shoulder to aim and shoot it properly with some what of a rumble (aka weak recoil) feedback.
I'm undecided as of yet. In most cases I'd use a traditional game controller when I have the option although the precision with the Move looks spot on. Plus Motion Fighters has captured my attention and if more information can be revealed on it in the future I'll likely buy that as well as a Move.
Wow. It's one thing that people don't like the Playstation Move because they think it's a Wii ripoff. Butnow it doesn't seem like people really hate the PS Move, but what they really hate is motion control.
Anyways, my biggest concern is that too many games that require the PS Move may force the player to always play on his feet, and not on his butt. Physically active games like Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution are good for parties, but without parties, I'd rather play games where I could play for an hour while sitting down and not be forced to stand up all the time to play.
I don't think so. That's why they made a wii... for the MOTION CONTROLS. coolkid93yeah but what wii doesn't have is HD graphics and blu ray disks. a lot of things on wii would have been legendary had developers had more to work with.
No Im too lazy to use that.

Haha I love the honesty. Seriously.
I enjoy the Wii from time to time, but I find Natal more interesting than Move, honestly. I'll wait till I try it to say for sure though.
I don't know...
I think that most people who own a PS3 but never tried a wii would be tempted to give it a shot, but being a wii owner as well I just wasn't impressed by the presentation at all, maybe I'm just feed up with motion controls already, but nothing I saw there striken me as great or mindblowing, it was a big'ol MEH feeling overall.
So unless they show some real killer apps on E3 I'm not getting this at all
Most likely. :]
I was a little worried at first because I wasn't sure many devolopers would care about making motion control games, but after seeing the list of companies that are involved in the product I can stop worrying. xD
I'm interested. But it depends what kind of games come out for it.
I already got an Eye, so this would give me a reason to actually use it. And I like motion control.
Mainly; it all depends on the software.
wont be getting it. i have a wii for motion gaming. starwarsjunkyBut that's like saying "I don't need a new games console, I already have a Sega Megadrive for my gaming" You're missing out on both new technology and new games.

MushroomWigBut that's like saying "I don't need a new games console, I already have a Sega Megadrive for my gaming" You're missing out on both new technology and new games. i would have to see a LOT of third party support to even consider it. imo its too late in the generation to introduce this and expect people to buy it.
People say that its stupid now but once it comes out, its the same people that will be buying it and enjoying it. ExoticAnimalI've heard this story before! It was....it was when....
3D gaming is 99.9% more appealing to me than motion control. Give me a 3d HDTV and 3d gaming system where I don't have to wear 3D glasses and me and all the people I know would be hooked. El_PS3_BestIt'd be quite amazing, actually if say Final Fantasy XIII or Versus used it during one of those fantasy-setting cutscenes. In fact, I think that moment alone would justify a TV/Glasses. :P
You can't say that its going to fail because its not even out yet. You don't know how good its going to be. True, its not going to replace the dualshock controller but for those who want something different, the move is going to be another alternative. This thing is going to FAIL as much as HOME did!

Hideo Kojima will announce that the next ps3 Metal Gear game will have Move functionality, and then everyone will buy it.
It's not in my plans yet and the main reason is that I am to lazy to stand in frond of the TV and move my arms. I prefer to sit on my couch, relax and move only my fingers. But if it's compatible with my games maybe I'll try it in the future.
If Move follows Playstation Home then it'll be successful, I don't know why people say it's a failure when it's making Sony money. This thing is going to FAIL as much as HOME did!

Who says you have to stand in front of the tv? You can sit and use the move with your arms. It's not in my plans yet and the main reason is that I am to lazy to stand in frond of the TV and move my arms. Exactly, check out the Socom 4 demo, he was doing exactly that. It's not in my plans yet and the main reason is that I am to lazy to stand in frond of the TV and move my arms. Nope, not going to get it for the simple fact that I am not interested in motion controls. This is just a gimmicky Wii rip off. Enough with the dump motion controls. This fad has come and gone sony
in 3 pages i think i am the only one that says "yes", im going to buy it day 1.
First, i love motion controls, if they nail it, we get great games that are mor fun to play it, i like the idea of the gladiator arena.
I'm buying the PSEYE and "move" with a game for under 100 dollar, maybe 99.99$ :P
I dont have a wii so this is a good thing for me
No :P I'm fine with the regular control, never cared for motion controls and from what i have seen don't think that's going to change, it will take more than just a few mini games to get my attention.
I COMPLETELY agree..there's nothing worth while about the Playstation Move. In fact I think it's a horrible idea to use a wand for shooting games. Who wants to play a shooting game with a wand in both hands?! And the games for it are soooo lackluster I wonder why did Sony even bother wasting resources and time on a soon to fail product!I was interested in it last E3, but tonights showing was lame, I am more interested in Natal. the problem with what Sony showed tonight was gameplay experinces we have been able to have on the Wii, the games they showed were very similar. I would hope they keep an eye out on more games (exclusive ones)..because the current onslaught of exclusive games are running dry after God of War 3 comes out. The only game that looked like fun was the fighting game they showed..and that's just not good enough. And the Natal seems to take things to a whole new level..especially when you got strong support from people like Peter Molyneux and Steven Spielberg..nice try Sony but I'm just not diggin it!!
