2.43 is for Japan only.

As far as I've seen there's no connection between the FW update and "Life with Playstation".

Life with Playstation was accidentily released.

I believe the error has now been corrected and it has been pulled. Still no release date available.

As far as I know it's gonna be a news and weather service. Why they're doing this serperately and not integrating it into Home I don't know.

From what I've read you need to run Folding@Home then exit and you should be prompted for an update. Some have received the prompt and some haven't. It also seems to be specific to the US region.

Anyone can manually update the system but it's not necessary, or noticeable unless you're in Japan.
