Yeah I got it about 2 hours ago and now I'm just hoping 2.4 will hit this Thursday or in the coming week or two. Go Sony, they're really surprising us lately with the great features they're adding.
Don't specify a date please because then people will making threads about "it's X date and it still isn't here" It gets here when it does. We have all lived without for this long a month or 2 won't be any more painful. Other than MGO, what major multiplayer game is coming out? Battlefield really doesn't seem that awsome. Soul Calibur you don't need to talk and in Socom they have the headset function, so if they can get it out by august were good.
I don't know exactly what it did. Can anyone point me to an article that shows the list of improvements it made? Well I guess if I didn't notice anything, then it isn't worth it.

I would assume the 2.4 update is a lot more complicated and will need tweeking. I mean, I expect to have problems when 2.4 is released.
I just downloaded 2.36 and installed it on my ps3. when i try and go play a game online a message appears saying that I need to update the sytem to 1.02,(isnt 2.36 newer than 1.02?). when I go back to my main menu and try update again it says I already have the latest version: 2.36. Why is this? is it because I skipid so many updates and went straight to 2.36?
What game was it? Most likely, it's talking about a version update patch for the game, not the firmway update. The game should automatically update and patch itself when you get the message (unless you do something like quit to try and download a system update you already have). So, yeah... try to run the game again, and don't turn the game off when it tells you it needs to be updated, see if it downloads and installs a patch.

Can we attempt to NOT revive threads that r weeks old?? 2.36 came out a while ago... apparently 2.41 is out now (although i cant download it!)
