Ok now that the ps3 slim has dropped and ps3's are only $300 i'm thinking i should get one.

Especially after seeing the uncharted 2 ratings and killzone 2 it might be time to get a ps3 alongside my 360.

Is it worth it to own both console IYO's. Or just a waste of $$$

Best of both worlds I think both are great consoles.

Well ask yourself these questions! Do you own a Blu-Ray player? Do you want to play alot of great PS3 exclusives? Do you want to play online for FREE?

Yes. PS3 has many awesome exclusives and has the ability to play BluRay films. It is totally worth the price tag and worth it to own both consoles.

Same story here. My 360 just went in my closet months ago. But it's good to own the two besat consoles of this generation. That way if there are any exclusives for the respective console you can get it.

1. You can watch Blu-ray movies. ( I actually bought mine for movies, but ended up playing games )

2. Online play is free.

3. The Last Guardian will be out next year.

Why do you need to be convinced?

I think you only really need one. But I do sometimes miss my 360.

I had an xbox first and got a ps3 last xmas. my xbox is now an overpriced dvd player in my room collecting dust. free online, bluray, controllers that don't need batteries, wi fi built in, and yes Uncharted 2 is a better version of Gears of War. And i have played both. Little big planet and MGS4, motorstorm, resistance, killzone 2 plus eye pet, Heavy Rain Gran Turismo 5, The Agent (rockstar) The Angency, Free Realms, MAG, GOD OF WAR3,FF13 etc still to come. The only game i wish it had was left 4 dead but I supposeI can get that for my PC. PLus PS3 HOME is fun and free where you meet people in a virtual world with your avatar and now launch into games with them. Also has loads of free mini games like pool, bowling, chess, poker tables etc. ALL FREE. GET ONE. But m,ake sure you get a bluetoothheadset as well.

Once you get it, it'll be your 360, next to your ps3.

See, I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I love my PS3, and I actually own ONE 360 game (L4D)...but I don't know if there's enough about the system to keep me interested. Between the fact that I'd feel like a tool paying for Live and the ongoing hardware issues. Other than a couple games, I just imagine it collecting dust. Especially considering all the games I'm trying to pick up still NOW (see below).
